With all that the CU promises we are in danger of becoming a FOTM and being nerfed into submission once more. So I say this my fellow commandos, we must take preperations for what may come. Do not let the promise of power blind you, be aware of those that would abuse our power and call themselves "commandos". In the beginging of the CU launch we will be divided into three groups, the godless FS grinders, those that seekour skillssouly for power, and the true, the proud, the Commandos! So prepare yourselves brothers and sisters, prepare. For our road to salvation will be stricken with strife, dissention in the ranks, and those with the nerve to call them selves "commandos".

I think the only reason we'll see an influx of new commandos coming in will be our good behavior during all this hellish message board CU flaming. People have actually come to our board and posted 2 separate threads about how well-mannered we are haha. Kind of funny for a band of roughened warriors!

LOL I have posted in two threads on the CU.. one telling them I really do not like it overall, but we gotta deal with what comes down the line. I personally do not want to be sitting in Coronet yelling Master Commando LFG for 2 hours. However the second post was to a little twerp who thought he knew everything in praising the CU. I calmly told him how things looked from a soloer's point of view from someone who has only a few hours a day or sometimes a week to play.
He quickly went quiet with saying.. i hadn't thought of that. I am liking some of the changes though, I still wish they had only fixed the problems at hand and not junked the system in favor of the EQ styling, but whatcha gonna do.. time to Lock and load.. and light my BADGER BURNER OF DOOM.. and test how much firepower we truely have. Then and only then will i know if I like it MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Meh, I think everyone's over-playing FOTM stuff. We'll have a lot of folks taking commando now for the guns, but that's kinda the whole point of the profession. Nothing is sacred and specific to a class anymore really, since you pick and choose from whatever profession you want. I'd imagine rifles would feel equally defensive about cover, etc otherwise.
It's a completely new ballpark.
