Well the first cool thing I found has to be about the combat itself. With the new change the specials are timed different and pull from different ham costs. After playing around with the different specials and figuring out the timing for warm-up, execution, and cool-down. I found I was able to make combo like attacks. By using them in the right order because of the timing you can almost link from one move to the next fluidly. This caused me to put out some nice damage really quick and not even get hit before I killed my target. Now I also noticed that certain moves when timed just right can break these linked attacked. However CoB does a good job of stopping it elese some one breaks the CoB when you start it. Although I should warn you that you will burn through your action pool really really fast and not even be able to use normal attacks, so make sure you get a CoB in before you run out to give you some tiime to recoop your action.
It also appears that weapon switching is happening right away which is kinda nice to switch from a ranged weapon to a melee weapon. Using firearm strike before switching makes a nice change over to keep the attacks coming.
I will tell you the more and more I play this the more I love it. Oh and ranged so much better then melee at the newbie stages. Also I found while on ranged weapons alternate between placed shot and aimed shot to fire off faster. Throw in kick up shot everyone once in a while. When the target gets to close hit firearm strike and switch to a melee weapon.
Another really cool thing is you can what you target is targetting. One this helps so you can tell who in your group currently has the aggro. The other nice thing is when going in groups you can have one peron pick a target then everyone then target that person. They will see you their target is and switch to that. Makes for much better tatics and organization when dealing with large mobs and you want to draw or pick them off one by one.
As I think of other cool things I will let you know. Look me up sometime when on TC-5. I go by Zaran, a proud member of the MC guild.

iv noticed that too. also if you click on the target or icon really fast you shoot alot faster. i guess its like a bonus for not letting the auto attack play the game for you

The supersweet trick/feature!
Bactashot on the target you are attacking, and you will heal whoever that creature is attacking.
So stand close and use the bactas on the monsters, and your tanks will be grateful.

That is sweet. Is it intended or is a bug? If it is intended that is really cool. If it is a bug they need to keep it and make it intended. But since that is a really cool thing they will prolly get rid of it.

I found using recursive macros spaming the attack i wanted to use increased my attack speed by 25%-33% depending on the special.

I tried that whenI was soloing a woort. It didn't work - said I had no target.
I will definately try it when I can get grouped.
My TC toon is too new to really get into different combat moves - I only have one-
Is yellow the only color used in the toolbar or are other colors used to denote warm-up and cool-down?

Yellow = In queue
White = Executing
Greyed out = Cool down
Red = you don't have enough pools
Also a cool thing is bacta spray. Say if you are melee and and three or four others are melee and you are going after a mob. SInce you are all together you bacta spray will heal all of you. So if everyone has that skill and alternate using it your group will be one hell of a tanking squad.
