i think commando is being greatly improved, much much more wide weapon choice (the weapons look awesome too!) and we get to use any other ranged attacks we have with our awesome commando guns. i feel pretty good about this and im very excited

I haven't played much as I'm only 1,1,1,2 Marksman. So I'm willing to give the CU some patience.

Still I thought I'd talk about some things.

The Bad.

Well from what I can tell people don't really move more with thier specials. It still seems like the same thing we have now. I got real annoyed when I could shoot backwards prone. No offense but shooting backwards through yourself don't look right. I imagine this is just bugness.

The Icons look interesting, but I think a lot of us would like to see a version like we have now in live. I for one don't like having an art gallery at the top for all my F-Keys Plus it can be a little hard to see what's going on with them. Some are pretty dark so it can be somewhat weird to tell when thier cooling down.

So my idea was this. Add the old style icons back (Or make it optional). Make them glow Green for Wind Up, Red for Excution, and then Black For Cool Down. Mush eaiser and seems more logical to me. If ya can't use it have it go yellow (Due to HAM Costs).

Auto-Attack. Combat isn't more "exciting" without it. For like 30 seconds ya, but then no. Please I beg of you add auto-attack back. It isn't good for an RPG or Online Game like this not to have an auto attack. I mean I really didn't find it that interesting to see the auto attacks turned into Ranged Hit and Melee Hit. Also if you lag up (and it still happens) you sit there dumb founded. Please spare us this. I still feel like I'm spamming things cause I always have to hit this button or this button. Only difference is I can't do it forever in the combat que anymore.

To be honest ya really should add the que back. But limit to say 5 specials. Where's this timing? All I see is must hit button or I won;t attack type thing. I was really hoping that we would have an auto attack and then think "Hmm which order do I want to line up these specials? Or Do I wait and keep Auto Attacking and then use some specials."

I ask what happened to making specials "Special". Were still spamming them all and everything just in a different way that really is no better then before.

AI is still dumb as heck and worse. A lot of the Creatures and NPCs will just stand around and get shot at for 15 seconds even when your right by. Oh yeah real realistic. But now when they do see ya they come incap you. You get up they incap you again. And again til you are dead. That's lame it's like the AI is greifing. If anything it has a poor attitude. Ok you can shoot and think I won't do anything then I'm gonna come incap you quick and do it again until your dead. I have no problem with AI remembering people but it should come after you the second you get up. If you make noise like attack something else then whatever it is from before should come right after you.

Creatures too often stand there getting shot. What should happen is when hit ranged they run away for a bit then come afte ya. With a melee hit they should know where you are and start attacking back no matter how skittish it is. This goes for NPCs too. Though soldiers and mean things like Tuskens should not run away from anything and just open fire at ya.

Also please rename some of the trees soon. The things in them have changed so their names need to too. For instance the Flamethrower tree isn't all Flamethrower so it needs a new name. Garvin had some good ones.

HAM bars look ok, but they don't properly represent the the amount of whatever it is to the other two. Cause 100 Mind on the Bar should not be as long as 1000 Health. It's also easier to read them and look at them when they had a whit backround instead of a shaded or empty looking color of the Bar.

Experience. I dunno if it's because all the things around us are similair in level, but when I kill a Con Yellow I'm only geting 10 more XP than a Con white? Taking down something tough needs to grant more reward. I can level faster killing stuff far to weak for me then hard. Yay boredom! No challenge and no reward for risk!

Also the first Novice Boxes as I can tell don't make you more powerful at all except giving you some new ability. Your first few skills should greatly boost your power as they are your core skills. The first boxes shouls be the most boosting with it gradually coming down to wear it becomes enhancing not power boosting.

(Leveling seems a little slow and gets real hard as you go on to a poitn where it takes way too long,)

The good.

Effects look nice so far and sounds seem pretty good too. I like every weapon being distinctive too. Some effects seem a perhaps a little over done. There is this one effect that's this big old explosion of light from which I have no idea what is that causes the Slideshow Effect (Lag). I think it's either crafters mining or people getting off mounts. (No Offense but we don't need effects for getting on and off Mounts if it's linked with that.

I like Grenades and our new heavy weapons. Heavy Particle Bea, cannon so far is the only one that doesn't look so good.

So far CU the is ok but doesn't seem like an improvement really to me anyways. I'm also a little nerved to still see 9K HAM Stormtroopers. Which leads me to believe there are still the 150K HAM ones out there. I hope this is just because they haven't gotten to them yet, but I really don't want to see things with 100K HAM everywhere. I think I would be awe struck to see an SBD with like 14K HAM and still be deadly and then at least stop making Darktroopers (Which are advanced Battle Droids!) be "What's pawned for Breakfast?" that they are now.
