Key notes from 4/2/05 patch notes:
Professional changes
- Medical XP is now tracked as part of combat and is granted with the kill credit.
- Commando skill trees have had their names changed to "Explosives", "Heavy Beam Weapons", "Heavy Incendiary Weapons" and "Heavy Acid Weapons".
- Newbie melons and foraged food should now be edible
- The Smuggler spices line has been renamed to "Delinquency".
- Altered medical XP requirements to match other combat professions
Character Builders - Frogs
- Frogs should now emit weapons with conditions closer to the target crafting values
- Heavy weapons & grenades now detail their intended effects in the examine window
- Added cryoban to character builder terminal
- Removed bug bomb from character builder terminal
- Added levels of armor

Have the titles changed garvin? What do you all think of the new skill tree name changes?

TC is still offline so I haven't checked, but I see no reason for our Title to change...the skill tree name changes make much more sense now, and, I hope, this will encourage folks to stop thinking of Commandos as just the "FlameThrower" profession...we have more then 1 way to blow them off the map...

Not just up..down...around...over, under, up high, or...the mega blowing them up to hell and back till they don't exist anymore.

Just adding the most recent "commando specific" patch notes to this thread so we can keep them altogether.

I was hoping for the proton carbine but hey it looks good.

I was hoping for the proton carbine but hey it looks good.
The look is more appropriate that the deadly (to Garvin at least) Massasi Ink Rifle. The proton rifle is sharp looking, and hopefully we will be able to use it effectively and lethally.
