1. Flame thower/plasma thrower- they are always aoe flame dot, when combined with a special like strafe shot, will this increase the cone size?
2. Hard beam cannon- when used with strafe shot, will the hard beam puncture targets up to maximum weapon range in a line? Sort of like the beam weapon on the side of republic transport ships? that kinda hard beam when swung aroung like a light saber looks pritty deadly (it takes down tanks in one hit). Will this be possible with the hard beam cannon and an AOE attack? (not the taking down tanks in one hit part, but the AOE puncture line shot part)
3. Rocket launcher- Same question, will the AOE knockdown increase when used with a special that IS an cone attack?
And so on, I guess the just of it is will our allready coned weapons when used with a cone attack increase the size of the cone and the affect range?

1. Sorry to say, but I do believe that strafeshot is gone. Riflemen have become snipers, not Rambos w/ miniguns, lol. And the only AOE attack I know of is either melee or carbineer( like full auto), and carbine AOE attacks require an automatic carbine--which ain't the flamer, lol.
2.Same as above, the HPBC isn't automatic
3. Rocket launcher doesn't need an AOE attack to be effective: have your commando buddies to line up a few meters apart from one another, and then fire on separate targets. The working radius mods should give ya a chance to KD everyone in the blast radius, negating the need for an AOE attack.
So I don't think that we'll be seeing our flamers or heavies turn into weapons that turn all the way around us lol. Our range is about 60 degrees, which while not 180, is still enough to get ya going and hit most people in front of ya.
