He's full of it you cant hit another player for that much dmg under the 75% reduction.

apparently the guy in question was holding a rifle which explains alot if our weps are still classed as melee

Even with a rifle and prone you can't hit someone for 20k damage in PvP.

Max PvP damage would be around 2900 vs unarmored. However max mob damage could be as high as 38k vs unarmored.

I've hit for over 13000 twice now with my flamethrower and flamesingle2, I took ss's but i have nowhere to host the images D: i'll work on it.

13k blows away my estimates... after I recalculate for a 10x multiplyer I only get 11k max damage.. what's your guns stats? 1300 max damage or what?

Flamethrower is 424-810 4.7 speed, I don't know how I did it, I just happened to hit for that high of damage..
