Im a male zabrak that began with marksman and never modified my stats. Im a commando with full flamethrower, master ch and medic 2-2-2-2. What armour should i wear and in what parts? In the parts that i dont wear armour, what kind of clothes should i use?

If you are going against critters, a high kinetic resist set of Ubese is great. I got some with 67% kinetic resists from Pak-Tek. My slices went all wrong...the only encumbrance went to the helm, the only stats we Zabrak can really jack up. Be prepared to buy 2 or more sets of legging and shirts, these have the highest Health and Action encumbrances, and keep buying and slicing until you get a good encumbrance slice.

Even with the unfortunate slices that I got, I then migrated my Health and action secondaries to near max, and I can wear the full set with no buffs or spice. Keep in mind that Ubese doesn't require the left and right biceps, as the shirt goes down to the elbows. I didn't know this initially and bought compsite biceps to wear with it as I couldn't find the Ubese biceps on the vendor (they don't exist). I was upset because the slice didn't goto encumbrance, and was cursing choosing Zabrak, as our Action secondaries are limited to 400, when I began trying out different armor configurations and noticed that the composite biceps unequiped every time I put the Ubese shirt on...AAAAAAAAAAHHAAAAAAAAA! Then I calmed down... Sorry to go off on a tangent.

If you are looking for the best PvP, then compsite is the way to go. Again, you may need to buy multiples of certain components to get an encumbrance slice.

As a Zabrak we rarely have to worry about the Mind pools, though Focus is a bit limiting. If you haven't already done so, I would recommend a stat migration, max your Action secondaries (only goes to 400 if I remember correctly) and near max your Health secondaries(450-500 range). Free up points from your health and action primary bars (I lowered mine to 850) as the protection afforded by the armor will actually make you live several times longer with these lowered primary stats. I set my mind to 900, maxed focus, and have willpower around 700.

I am still shopping for composite, but theorize that all this will apply to that venture too.

Two words.

First word: Composite

Second word: Food

I reccomend composite if you can afford it (otherwise ubese as posted) and slices on resists, not encumberance (or preferrably a mix thereof). You can consume food (which is ridiculsouly cheap since no one uses it except a knowledgable few) to boost your secondary stats (with no bad side effects) such that you can wear the armor. Keep the armor on, and even when the food effects wear off, you can keep it on. Rinse and repeat as needed.

Ok here you go:

1. Get Composite. Get the best you can afford and have the protections adjusted based on what you do most. PvP you want mostly kinetic and energy protection. PvE you may want to have more protection against acid, heat, and electricity...just a suggestion.

2. If you know you are going to go hunting or are going to get in a fight... Find a wonderful Master Doctor and get the best Buff that they can give you and be generous with your payment to them. These usually last 2 to 2.5 hours.

3. Food. Although not "necessary" there is food available that will improve your ability to take and inflict damage.

Armor alone is not enough. You need to have a strategy of using all the of the 3 things I have suggested to prep yourself for combat.

It takes some time, but I am Zabrak and can wear a full set of composite without buffs. You need to max your secondary stats to something similar to mine:

Heath 875

Strength 450

Constitution 400

Action 875

Quickness 450

Stamina 400

Mind 750

Focus 500

Willpower 700

Then find an armorsmith and master smuggler willing to work with you to make the set and slice it for encumbrance. Note that getting the gloves, bracers, and helm sliced encumb are not as important as the rest. I was able to make it under my limiting factor (constitution primarily) by getting 25% + encumb slices on my Chest, Legs, 2 biceps, and Helm. I had to buy 2 pairs of legs and 4 breast plates to accomplish it though. I would recommend that if you do faction missions (ever) to go for composite. That said, it will cost you anywhere from 150k to 350k to get this done based on luck and pricing.
