Commando Archive

What race is gonna be the best for commando. Right now i'm a wookie and taking hits is sucking ass. I've not even got to pvp yet. Thinking of rebuilding....please give me some suggestions with a small explanation.

First off Wookies are a good race and all, but for a class that is taking melee damage, and the fact that they cannot wear armor, they might not be the best choice for Commando.(Just my opinion)

1) Humans: Basic race, can wear all type of armor. Not too good or too bad in any areas.

+5% Experience (ALL)

+15 Artisan Experimentation

+10 Leadership

2)Zabrak: Human like race, theyalso can where all types of armor. Also gets great mods at start.

• +10 Defense Vs. Dizzy
  
• +10 Defense Vs. Stun
  
• +10 Defense Vs. Intimidate
  
• +5 Anti-Shock
  
• +1 Equilibrium - Rebalances damage to all pools
  
• +1 Vitalize - Minor buff to all pool sizes

3) Trandoshan: Can wear all types besides boot or gloves. Great from TKA/Commando Combo.

+10 Unarmed Accuracy

+5 Unarmed Speed

+15 Unarmed Damage

+10 Melee Defense

+10 Creature Harvesting

+1 Regeneration - Buff to constitution for 5 minutes.

Those are the three races that I'd recommend because of their skill mods and their ability to wear armor. I've seen Master Commandos of all races so I wouldn't say one is better than another, just that they would be easier to levelas a Commando.

I play a rodian, and have enjoyed it as master commando. Its fun to be able to pop off a few pistol specials and have your action bar go back up quickly. Armor can be a bit of a pain, but I can get a full suit of composite on with either some good slices or a little zyoplene droid lubricant or neutron pixie.
