haha 2-1-2-0 commando here i hate lvl'in this profession jsut as much as i hated lvl'n rifleman....i think i'm gonna get master architect before i even get antoher skill box in commando

i've done entertainer, marksman, scout, commando, and dabbled in smuggler, brawler, and rifleman. of these 7 trees commando was easiest to go thru. if you are having problems leveling up i suggest finding a master commando on your server and asking for tips. giant womp rats give 1600heavy xp, squill in the squill cave on tat give 3k a pop. stormtroopers give 3k a pop. and with flameshot its easy to get most of that even when your in a large group. i think your not trying hard enuf or perhaps maybe you'd raise your xp faster if you tried fighting something other than junior droid technicians.

I got all my XP from Mountain Squills(They are vuln. to Heat) on Tatooine, and Bols on Dantooine( But these guys can spawn out of hand if you don't pull them away from the lair.) You get about 3K from each of these and can "grind" the xp out real easy.

DUDE commando was the esiest profession ever to master go to lok kill kusaks that simple i got master commando with -knives- in 4 days flat its easy!

I assume you are interested in grinding, so here is a grind way to xp commando:

Get a non-ch pet, for example a rock beetle.

Tantooine. There are these boar/dog things that aggro badly. No DB's. Have your pet attack one. Like 5will attack at once. Flamecone1. 3k x 5 = 15k xp in one battle. (Assuming xp from flamecone1 isn't broken- I've heard different things lately since the patch and haven't tried it myself)... As a previous poster mentioned, Squills are good too(they also aggro in a group).

Zedar, Commando, Bloodfin

i got a rock beetle and did faction missions out of moenia to master commando. send the rock beetle against the lair, and then pick off the stormtroopers 1 by 1.

Its all about Lok for leveling - huurtons spawn 2 at a time and usually about 3k a pop - bring a tank - took no time at all

well ya i don't like pets so maybe that's my problem, i've tried bols, torturs, pickets, havn't tried lok, stormies are pretty easy but i gotta keep running back to get more missions. for those things i did try thougth they swarm me and i might catch one or 2 on fire but the fire doens't last long enough to kill them so after i get up from being incapped and wait gotta go back and set them on fire. long process.

It took me some time at first to level but I finally got flame 4 and my god has my xp taken off! I will be master commando in no time now if it werent for the darn combat XP. So I suggest to focus all points in flame thrower category for now then do the others.

UGH! you DON'T NEED PETS!!!!!

just go to the krayt boneyard, find feral bantha lairs, cannibal dewbacks, mountain squill, hell even krayts and just have a blast. I got over 200k there in one night and I was only on for a few hours. The feral bantha's are freaking great, with a good flamethrower you can sit back at 64m and use overcharge 1, it kills them in one shot and it's 1151 xp, group with a droid of another person and that just goes up even more.

There is always stuff to kill there and I most will give you over 1k xp a peice and those lairs will spawn like 20 creatures. Plus it's great when a krayt comes around and all hell breaks loose. Try it you won't be disappointed.
