Thread: How cool would this be?
Replace the Heavy Acid Rifle with the tripod mounted E-Web Repeating Blaster Cannon.
It would be a stationary weapon. You would have to stop, deploy, then fire. It could not be fired while moving.
Speed should be .5 and it should have a suppressive capability like the suppression shot in the ranged support tree of Novice Marksman.
Just a thought.
It wouldn't be too bad actually, you could easily balance the high speed by making the damage relatively low, like 50-80ish, with the refire rate compensating for the lack of damage. Since it's mounted, it's easy to stear clear of if you have to, but it would be great for fortifying positions and defending (or sieging as the case may be.) Specials could be focussed on AE sprays and AE surpression attacks with normal fire just being a really fast, but lower damage single attack.
Heh, this game needs all the authentic Star Wars weapons it can get (half of the ones in game aren't even in the films, and all the ones from the films are mediocre for the mostpart) so why not start here?
Couldn't agree more, Raptor2k1, the E-Web was always my favorite weapon in the films anyway.
Don't understand why they didn't take more from the films instead of making up all the weird stuff they did like weapons that shoot acid. Where the hell did that come from?
How about the armor that Dengar wore, or the SandTrooper backpack?

Really?
Why the hell did they get rid of it then?
Id like to see the HAR gone, and have the concussion rifle from the game Dark Forces 1 take its place. Definetly a commando weapon.
