Greetings,
I'm still new at this game and I am working towards novice Commando.
My friend is under the impression that the 40k combat XP required for novice commando, includes the combat XP acquired while doing marksman and the master unarmed branch which is 30k (sorry dont remeber exact totals)or so. That means I only need 10k combat xpor so after I've completed Marksman and Master Unarmed to get Novice Commando.
The impression I got from reading Ivoni's guide is that you need 40k more combat XP once You have done Marksman and Master Unarmed.
Can some please clarify this for me?
Thanks in advance

You need an additional 40k combat xpafter you complete Master Marksman. Unarmed Combat does not require combat xp.

Yeah... the 40k combat exp is ADDITIONAL. Basically you"buy" skills with experience points. After you master Marksman and Unarmed, you have to get 40k MORE Combat Exp. Then you "spend" that 40k of Combat exp to "buy" Novice Commando. Once you "spend" the 40k Combat exp, it is forever gone (even if you surrender the skill later, the skill points are returned, but the exp is NOT), and if you try to "buy" another skill that costs Combat exp, you will have to go out and get MORE Combat exp to buy it.
