Thread: which species is better for commando/smuggler or commando/TKA
For commando/tka , trandoshan. Dont look at any other race. Trandoshan get significant bonuses for TKA.
Commando/smuggler you can be any race.. id suggest human because they can wear full set of armor.
Wassup Tanner .... DONT GO TRANDOSHAND !!! IM THE TRANDOSHAND AROUND HERE!
Become a smuggler human like the other guy said thats the smart thing to do if you know what I mean
----Im a Bounty Hunter
Killing is my job . You will be my next pay check .. lol
On Bria, I have a Wookie Commando(FT only)/CH, with just a touch of Medic thrown in, he definately does OK, but I would not recommend Wookie under any circumstances to be a serious fighting charector. The added stat points are nice, but the total lack of ability to wear armor, assures you will never want to use it as a TKA, since you will spend far too much time at the clone center.
On Lowca, I have a Human Commando (FT only)/CH/Smuggler Dabbler. While he wouldn't be of much use PvP, he is superiour in PvE. His ability to get an extra 30% or so for a mission is extremely nice, and the fact he can use Feign Death, means his trips to the clone center are far less frequent than my Wookie's are. His ability to produce credits soloing, is simply staggering, and since that was his only purpose, he fills that role well.
Never having done a TKA, I can't comment there, but can't fault the earlier suggestions of Trandoshan, since they seem to make very good TKA's.

Don't forget about Zabrak...Equalibrium has saved my butt many a time...It's a great way to heal mind damage in battle...when it's almost gone, hit a stim pack to refill your health and action, then hit equalibrium and have all 2 pools average out to the same length...then hit a stim again...you'll triple where your mind pool was before the the first stim pack (just under half full)...
I find in battle this comes in really handy...but it only works like once per hour...
If you are imperial i would recommend human for smugger/commando...
pretty obvious.... cheap cheap FP ![]()
