Thread: The Fun Factor =D

I read these fourms and see all this stuff about commandos being gimped and screwed. To me it seems funto have the explosions and flames and rocket launchers and stuff (just thinking havent made commando yet). So is the gimped ness and dieing and not killing high end stuff (PvE is my consern) take out the "fun factor"?
How can i strengthen the "fun factor"? Maybe get fencer for defense or doctor to heal or just soemthing corney for more fun.

Dont let the small amount of posts like that fool ya - It is still and always will be an amazing profession - We got some cool stuff coming which will also enhance you in PvE. I predominantly play PvE and have found that we can do a lot of damage - however - after freshly coming back - i dont like the delay on switching weapons - other than that - It rocks. Im working on TKA right now for better defenses - but for some reason I really dig pistoleer stuff lately. I would recommend getting smuggler - Feighn death - it helps a ton leveling up the tree - And you can drop it when you attain your master - Hope it helps.

If you're just looking to use the flamethrower there's a good template out there somewhere with some TKA and Pistoleer where you can kill just about anybody in PvP even with high end armor without them scratching you and it does fairly well in PvE too. Does anyone know what it is? I forgot a while back.

yes. commando can be alot of fun... something about blasting stormtroopers with rocket launchers, beam cannons and the launcher pistol just feels so... rewarding

yes it better be rewarding. 3000 brawler adn 4203 marksman right now and tis still a heck of a grind. I have aqurired a set of comp armor from amy friend and i can hunt big things that would kill me fast.
