I'm really sick of this nonsense about hatred of bandwagoners...

I feel like I'm being labeled a band wagoner just because my play style isn't powergamer...

so I started SWG about 2months ago... and I'm at the 23kcombat expfrom my novicecommando, now I dont' consider my play style laid back, I have master scout (well I could get it just need AP) but still the ragging on people that weren't novice commando, or master commando or anywhere in between, before this patch or mention of the changes,it's getting plain old and stupid...

grow up guys... if you're going to pay my bill and everyone elses that plays the game, then tell us what prof to play

k thanks that is all

If you started the game intending on becoming a Commando from the start...you are not a bandwagoner...

If you started the game and have played all the FotM (Flavor of the Month) classes with each patch, then you are a bandwagoner.

Have a nice day

Lol, I was a commando after month one, then dropped it because my pillow was sopped with my tears. Then I went CH cuz its fun. Now Im half commando/half ch because Ive grown to attached to some of my critters. I'll end up being really gimpy but with better special effects. Remember, its all about how you look when you get taken down.

further more, I don't just jump into a profession without knowing what I'm getting into...

Ive been in and out of all the boards... from CH, ranger BH, Medic, Doctor, TKA, all of them very good, and seeming ly enjoyable for some players..., but this is what I've choosen... the fact that the game is designed to where I can give up a skill and explore another tree... it' going to happen to all all the professions sooner or later, having people dabble and try things out till they get settled...

just have fun playing the GAME! it's not a life it's a game

thanks that is all

The problem most the older commandos have with the new "1337 uber d00dz" coming into our prof is that they are dangerous to the profession we've sticked with and cried so many nights over.

We have finally recieved minimal care and it's likely that these new powergamer jumpers will come in here and mess us up worse than we were at start. Our board already resembles bh/pistoleer now and it use to be a community where we helped each other as much as possible to last through our darkest hours.

We don't dislike new dedicated commandos we just feeling threatened by all the idiots that showed up here overnight asking how to be uber or calling for nerfs when we aren't even fixed yet. This profession use to be filled with the most considerate, intelligent, and funny people currently playing the game imo. They are still here just lurking now waiting for the hype to settle.

Anyone who complains that people are jumping on the band wagon is a fool. First, because players that enjoy combat are going to switch to whatever profession gives them an advantage. That is what they like about gaming. Trying to be the best. If being the best means being BH last month and Commando this month, then so be it.

Aside from not realizing this and accepting it, what you are really telling the rest of us with your complaints and flames to these "wagoneers" is: "I was here first, so I am cooler then you."

The above poster was correct, it is their money, they can do with their time what they please. Try to grab a little more perspective.

On release, I wanted to be a Commando. So, I fired up the Rodian and started down my path. Got him to Master Marksman and 3rd tier Unarmed. At the time, I wasn't aware of the bleed and beat tactic so I gave up on him and went with Bio-Engineer as my friend was going to be a CH.

After going 4-3-4-4 in Bio-E, I realized I needed a little more in the way of action. He also didn't have a good look so I remade him into the character I have now.

I figured I'd do the Master Marksman again as it opens up alot of doors as well as knocking out the Unarmed with my new knowledge of Bleed n' Beat. From there, I had the option of going a few different routes. As the friends I played with were going mostly combat oriented,I decided to go Commando.

I have to say that this professions is fun. Sure, the big damage is nice and people always stop when you are in the area making alot of noise, but I just have plain old fun with it.

I'm sure I will switch professions at some time if I should get bored but it's been a long time since I have had fun with a game. If I do switch, it'll be something that uses the Unarmed line as I wouldn't give that line up if the debil himself asked me to.

See you on the front lines!
