well if you go tkm/commando you will have more skill points to use on medic
and if you go pikeman/commando you wont be able to go medic, thats if you master both

Pikeman is nice for the dots, but if you plan on being primarily a commando, you already have a great one with the flamer. Plus you really need the Tks defenses. Trust me, I'm a rifleman commando. i get states on me just by being on same planet with an Overt imp.

TK going with Commando is generally a better way to go since it is far more efficient on your Skill Point pool.
Why? TK's prerequisite is Unarmed IV, which is already one of the prerequisite for Commando. If you decide to go with either Fencer, Pikeman, or Swordsman, then you have to spend that much more Skill Points to get to them.
TKM/M.Commando leaves you with 18 Skill Pts.
M.Commando/Mastering any Elite Brawler Profession leaves you with 4 skill points.
There's a big difference in just 14 measly SPs.

I find TKA to have terrific defenses...with kinetic and flame damage, you can take on a pretty good assortment of mobs...but keep your eye out for the combat upgrade. Many things will change after that...I don't know what though, but I suspect that TKA will get re-balanced to the point that they won't be as great...but this is mere speculation.

Woohoo! My reply was 1-starred! Probably from a Jedi-lackey from the GCW Forum!
Oh, BTW, thanks to whoever 5-starred me!
