I just posted this on the flurry board.
I am now and will always be a Master Commando at heart. I will notabandon my fwellow Commandos. Regardless of any other activities I partake in I will alwaysbe looking at things through my Commandoeyes.
Boy do the smugglers have asurprise waiting for them.
To add some content for myself and any others that may wish to participate.

I am announcing the formation of an (Smuggler) Alliance to topple Jabba from power.
the Syndicate of Commodity Appropriating Merchants
This is to be a loose knit, non-guild oriented organization with a primary purpose of resting control of the smuggling and spice trade from the Hutt clan (and any others that get in the way and to making a lot of credits.

This association is non-guild and non-faction aligned. Imperial citizens and Rebel Alliance oriented are welcome. There is no guild of faction membership required. We welcome all

Additional, desirable characteristics that are considered a must are:
1. You must be honorable.
It is a mandatory "rule" that any contract you enter into must be followed to the
letter as you agreed to in the negotiations.
2. You must show good citizenship to your town.
It is mandatory that you pay all taxes and to also contribute to the general well being and growth of your chosen town.
A successful member (however questionable the members character is) of SCAM will always honor all clauses of any contract that member negotiates.
For instance if you agree to delivery 10 crates of 250 items, then you better delivery all ten crates containing all 250 items. If you agree to deliver 10 crates of items, then you better deliver 10 crates. since you only agreed to deliver 10 crates then the quantities in the delivered crates may not be the same quantities in them when you picked them up. Not fulfilling your obligations as you agreed upon will be severely dealt with by the syndicate.
A successful member will support the town of residence.

But remember inappropriate behavior may bring about severe chastisement by the association. To a syndicate member the GCW is an inconvenience to the peaceful pursuit of credits. For any organism to survive and thrive this must be a community effort. All professions are welcome to apply and will play a vital part contributing to the success of the association.

Syndicate membership and support will cost you 5 per cent of your earnings to be paid to our designated collection agent. Any payments made by the association for services rendered to the syndicate are exempt from the 5 per cent fee.

Voluntary contributions to those that "advise" us are no only expected but demanded.
NOTICE TO NON-PvP PLAYERS: This organization is leaning to the RP portion of the game. our more than welcome to take part but you must understand that at some time you might slip up and "upset" the syndicate. In that case expect to be challenged to a duel (or maybe payoff the character hunting you. The punishment for infractions will be tailored to fit with the hunted player idea of a just punishment. If you can't accept an occasional incap or DB please don't apply.

Once I work out a few details with the mayor and the other citizens (I want their permission) I try to contact the major guild's leaders, both Imperial and Rebel, to request that the town not be turned into a major battleground. As I mentioned to my guild mates an occasional back alley killing is to be expected in these trying times.

Guild leaders I see a lot of requests to create a Hutt faction on the forums. I want to see this association fill those requests. Please let me know how we can work together to make that happen.
