Thread: Coming post CU... I have no idea where my commando is!

Okay, as stands.
Commando 1/1/3/2
Master Marksman
Scout 1/0/0/0
Brawler 4/0/0/0 (unarmed)
Okay, now that the CU is out, I have no idea... lost in the wild with my Commando. I am looking at the current armor system and from what I have there, what can I wear? I am guessing battle type if so, is stromtrooper armor still only from gaining enough faction points to buy them?
I know back in the day my waepons were decent, not sure of now.
Launcher Pistol
Speed: 1.67
Damage: 89-218
Rocket Launcher
Speed: 2.76
Damage: 158-362
Flame Thrower
Speed: 3.02
Damage: 442-972
I still have the option of respec'ing, but haven't used it yet, due to I have no idea what the popular combos are with the CU.
I also now know that the system is now more level based. I am not sure, but I take that all planets have ratio of easy to hard mobs, some with a higher ratio of course (Dathomir). As a level 22, I have no idea where the best places to go for my level are or where all the new quests are (I have been away for a year). I can see a great deal has changed and most of it has been radical changes.
As far as I can see, Rifleman, BH or Pistoleer or even TKAare pretty nice looking for my Commando. Question is, any pistol skills I learn... do they work with my pistol launcher? Can head shot work with other weapons other then rifles? Like I said, I know the old system very well and coming from a year of being gone... a lot has changed.

I would either go with rifleman or BH to go with commando. BH has nice defense, plus can appy states, rifleman have range.... a HUGE thing in Big PvP battle where even carbineers are gimped.
I would go to Tatooine to level, keep master marksman until you have to frop it, It will help you level your heavy weps, also, if you want to go BH, you need it so your weapon xp cap is big enough to buy your first box. get some medic, preferably 4/0/0/0. also get scout 3/0/0/0. terrain neg is always nice.

So far Tatooine has been either too easy or to hard... still looking though.
