Thread: Well nothing in the new publish for us specificaly......
I'm pissed.
Player hunting is being moved to MBH instead on Investigation 3? I was grinding my commandoup BH Investigation on StarSider to hunt Jedi, dammit!
Also looks like they nerfed payout on Jedi missions, too.

Fixed. You know sparklers are too dangerous to duel with. You could put someone's eye out with on of those! Or catch your hair on fire!
Its very frustrating...given that I just know if grenades and AoE get fixed and become fully useful again, our status will greatly improve. Albiet, we need to actually be able to do our damage dealing (with utility enhancing that damage). Its not front loaded like riflemen with their nuker abilities, but its good damage with enhancers that add variety and boost it. We cannot reach our role with utility alone, and because of this we are pressed into a ranged only template for that damage, despite our melee pre-req...
And to be honest Im starting to get fed up from the lack of response, especially I consider you guys. It was going great during the Beta, and communication was astounding as well as the Dev-Player interaction. That abruptly came to a halt after some of our key systems flat out broke or became useless. Just wasn't right...

I don't think the devs give a damn about ever fixing us.
All they'll ever do is ignore us, lie to us, or nerf us. Period.
You're fighting the good fight, and so will whoever comes after you, just as Garvin did before you. To the devs, though, we don't matter. Your words to themfall on deaf ears and blind eyes.
For me, this was the biggest reason for going to the new guild on StarSider. Profession-wise, we have nothing left except each other, and it's becoming more and more clear that that's all we'll ever have.

I know your feelings man i have been commando 20 months and its hard to go on but i am the only commando on the server that pvps, well one of like 3 maybe.
That means i have somthing to prove about all of us i have tryed to get the best weapons best mods foods etc. and make it work.
People think they can beat me easy in pvp when they see me but i kill them or get beat , but not much. and if i do die they are hurtting.
Commando is a underdog and i am tryn to get a upper hand anyway i can. Right now im not mad anymore i dont let it get to me .. the no pups , the high sac, no attacks with commando ,
the weapons that are useless , the buged weapons and etc.. we all know what sucks about commando but i say we take what is given to use and make it work the best till they fix us. yes i said it "fix us" and its been said how many times . but i will keep sayn that . Its like a broken record now
For those of us in ranged templates (especially with powerful attacks like bodyshot, BH's critical shot, or legshot), we are just about near where we should be. Our weapons have the elemental bonus, our weapons also do slightly more damage naturally (in my opinion our master weapons should break 1000 dmg give their heavy nature, rather than 900 without enhancers....so minor increasement of damage could be at hand or better elemental scaling). For us its really just the AoE and grenade issues, as well as the minor ones such as the Zombie DoT bug, no pups on PFTs, etc etc.
However, its a radically different story with commandos starting out and non ranged template commandos (melee and crafting/entertainer commandos). This is where our damage sorely lacks, and I do mean sorely. The lack of specials and having AoE of our weapons makes grinding up difficult, and the limited flexibility of commando in regards to templates forces us onto a narrow path that so little allows us to utilize our melee pre-req or melee mods (we get +55 general melee accuracy and +20 general melee speed btw, which aint half bad). This is the scenario that lacks the damage dealing it needs, and causes uselessness with the profession.
It'd be a whole lot better if we had some non-AoE and AoE weapons, a special like legshot at master (or mixed in between) that does our damage and be done with this nonsense. The ability to allow a damage dealer to do damage from within itself is important, especially considering that our "utility" is there to enhance that damage, or at least should be as no amount of utility can be a substitute for actual damage. This special would naturally have its restriction...its speed, make it slow...like double the length of improved legshot or 1.5x as slow if its feared that it'll be overpowering. However such a special, would greatly improve the second scenario of commando. The primary reason to then dabble out would be to improve the speed of our heavy weapons through specials and mods, and gain more variety like any other profession would benefit from. This, would allow us to be compatible in both realms, albiet a melee-commando is not the same in offense as a fully ranged commando, but his/her damage should be close like how a TKA-Rifleman should be compared to a Rifleman-Carbineer, the ranged template would be faster and more accurate...but not necessarily twice as damaging.
