If the other professions are so bent on us keeping our extra 2.5 melee damage. Then I propose that we should also have a special move that can be used in conjunction with our specials.

For a lack of a better term I'll call this the Butt-Stroke (i.e. taking the Butt of our flame thrower or HAR and applying it to the head of our target). This would be a defensive/offensive move that would be going on during the "cool-down" time. At least with this it would grant Commandos with some form of defense against melee attacks.

But personally I would rather see the melee penalty go away, the accuracy increased and speeds on on using specials on the Flame Thrower and Heavy AcidRifle decreased. And really the disposable weapons should hit 95% of the time, there is no excuse for paying out that kind of money for them and have it wasted on a missed shot. And really we should have come into the profession with at least a +20 on speed and accuracy on the FT and HAR, afterall we are Master Marksmen.

I like the butt-stroke idea that you can use in the cool down it should be only put in the master box though, this would be comparable to pistolmelee . or put a lesser one in heavy surpport and a stronger one with poss a KD in master

I'd rather the attack be a blind then a KD... I don't like kd's in general and think they have no place, where as a blind attack would be nice because it lasts longer and ends up giving us a better chance later on.
