Hello all, I know there is a lot of bugs (although I don’t understand them all) right now that is severely hampering this profession. But my question is, is there any light at the end of the tunnel? I have 40k Combat up just waiting to make the decision of Commando or BH. What will be the capabilities of a BH after all the bugs have been fixed. Will they be good in PvP, or are they more geared for PvE? Any info from some of you guys would be appreciated. I have spent a lot of time getting this 40k combat up, and I want to make sure I make the right move.

Thanks.

Edit: 'Combat up' should be 'Combat xp'.

*Shrug* Couldnt tell ya, Im not a Master Commandoyet

But as far as novice goes? You should hit up some basic Pistoleer skills first like Pistol whip, accuracy, and get some of the special moves.

Turn around and run, run as fast as you can. Burst run if need be.

Ok, im a pistoleer (0-0-4-1) and a master CH(which id like to keep) and Im a big PvE player, but I've seen how well Commandos work in PvE, so im wondering if its worth it for me to change to this:

Marksman (master)

Medic (novice)

Scout (4-0-4-0)

Brawler (1-0-0-0)

Creature Handler (master)

Commando (0-0-4-0)

Is this worth it? I just feel that pistoleer isnt taking me anywhere, but I'm not sure if I would have enough Commando skills to make a difference.

I'm torn. A quick look at the forums will show that the usefullness of the flamethrower has diminished greatly in PvE (actually against anything doing Kinetic damage). That said, with CH, you can "distract" creatures with your pet first, so the melee damage multiplier PvE mobs will have against you will be less of a factor.

Yeah, i agree with you. Despite the melee damage modifiers, my grauls will keep the creatures busy long enough for me to flame em. I think I'm gonna go for it, but any more opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Commando / Creature Handler is the most powerful PvE template in the game. Bottom line.

Ok, one more thing: will I have any chance of hitting anything with a rocket launcher, frag grenade or acid rifle with 0-0-4-0?

And for those who may look down upon me due to me going for grenadeer, let me tell you how much I wish that I had extra skill points.I would love to master commando, but I only recently mastered CH and I've worked too hard to give it up.

There is always a chance, but I would not waste your money.
