I'm looking for recommendations on creating a casual commando. I want my main professions to be a Commando & Chef, taking about 5 or 6 skills in each profession. My plan right now is:
Expert Unarmed
Master Marksman
Expert Domestic Arts & Specialist Survey (4 & 3)
Scout (1/0/0/1 for terrain movement and harvesting)
Commando (1/0/4/0 for flamethrower so I can cook my food)
Chef (0/2/2/2 - Entrees, Mixology & Cooking)
That leaves me 29 skill points. I had thought of learning Pistoleer with 3 ranks in Pistol Stances & Grips and TKA with 1 level of Balance & Conditioning.
I solo a lot, and am not too active in PvP. I am a member of a small PA, and am their cook (if cook is ever fixed).
The question boils down to: Is the ranged weapons from Commando & Marksman enough or should I develop pistoleer to help out (i.e. should I devote my remaining 29 skill points to TKA instead of working pistols). Or should I abandon TKA and just go for pistoleer?
Like I said, I want to be fairly self sufficient but be able to bring down the reds if I have to...
