Morning all, thought Id throw in my 2 cents on the PvE, PvP professions combo.

I am, atm, MCH, Master Marksman (of course), Medic 0/1/0/0, Brawler 4/0/0/0, and Commando 0/0/3/0. This combo has been working REALLY well for me in just about all situations as long as I am carefull and always have pets out and ready.

besides TKM, has anyone else experimented with different combos?

I got the same combo as you only with flamer 1 (working my way up to flamer 4) and it works very well in both pvp and pve for me too. pve is extremely easy with this combo actually.

I'm glad you posted this, I was just racking my brains about how I wanted to go.

I just started novice Commando, but I love it so far.

ATM I'm trying to figure out how I could throw all the professions I love into one template.

I do love CH, but will probably give it up to pursue something totally different than I have played before, a pure combat oriented character.

Right now I've come up with this, but itmight change:

Commando 2-3-4-4, Pistoleer 0-0-3-0, TKA 4-0-0-0, Smuggler 0-4-4-0, Medic 0-0-0-0.

That should leave me with 2 skill points left. I am wondering though, if I have TKA 4-0-0-0, can I get rid of Novice Medic and put those skill points somewhere else?

if u kill npc's in mass 2000 medic is very usefull for heals and mainly for bleed heals while fight

master commando with TKA defenses and meditation tree you dont need pets.

What tree in TKS would be considered defensive then? Tree 2 or 4, both have defensive qualities about them.

tree 4 for melee and ranged defense. with a 50+ kinetic armor and high melee defense from master commando+tka you get hit very, very few times.. and then the armor reduces that number to insigificant amounts. heck ive been tanking 4 rancors are once and my ham regenerated before i got hit again.

Nice idea, So if I dropped Novice Medic I could put the remaining points into TKA and Pistoleer.

That would give me TKA 4-0-0-4; plus instead of Pistoleer 0-0-3-0, I could pick up the last skill box so it would be Pistoleer 0-0-4-0. And only have 1 skill point remaining.

So Template would be:

Master MArksman, Brawler 4-0-0-0, Commando 2-3-4-4, Smuggler 0-4-4-0, TKA 4-0-0-4, Pistoleer 0-0-4-0.

How bout that?

i'd drop the slicing tree in smuggler and the acid rifle (useless atm) and up the pistoleer speed and accuracy tree so you can really benefit from the smuggler dirty fighting and launcher pistol using pistoleer specials. any extra points would be best spent in field tactics and heavy weapons support... OR if you have 5 points left over, in pistoleer melee defense 1 tree so you get a melee range knockdown.
