Finished unarmed 4 last night, and tracked the Commando trainer down. I wonder if I should pick up smuggler as well?

I'm novice smuggler 2,4,1,4as well as a new novice commando. The pistol grind for smuggler is the worst. plus I don't thing that any launcher pistol xp goes to pistol, I think it all goes to heavy weapons xp. But I may be wrong.

Correct, Launcher Pistol is HW, but you can use pistol specials with LP.
