Well now that the cert works, I went and got me a heavy acid rifle. I don't really care that I wasted the money, because the ability to test our weapons out as we get fixed (crossing fingers) is worth it. Still, if you want a good example of how unfinished (like the rest of the game) and gimped we are, the HAR is it.

- First you'll notice is the armor pierce, or lack thereof: Pierce is 0, but I'm assuming that applies to all commando weapons. After all, heavy weapons that require more skill prerequisites for certification than say, a rifleman with his T21, shouldn'tpierce any armor at all, because that would make sense.

- The animation during combat,or lack thereof:There is none. All you hear is a thump as you (maybe, just maybe) hit your target. I don't have any specials for it yet, so I don't know what they look like. I would suppose that acid single is no different from a regular shot, and that acid cone is a big cone of nothing.

- Finally, if you select novice commando in your skills window, you'll see that when they fixed the cert for HAR, they didn't even name it correctly or capitalize it... etc. It says "cert rifle acid beam," showing exactly how shoddy what little work they put into us is.

So it's easier to level now, but level to what?
