As you may remember from the other boards i attempted to make a profession to race to weapon guide. Although i knew a lot of what was going into it, i lacked knowledge of some weapons because i dont play professions that use them. Since no one was willing to help i scrapped the guide.

Right now i am working on a commando guide. Its being made for gamefaqs, but any site that would accept it i guess il send it to. ANYWAY i knew the commando class very well, iv read these boards for a while and i play a commando myself. However im not perfect. If you want to contribute anything please either post it here or email me [email protected] yes that email is correct, i hate aol but its what we use(thankfully i have cable so i dont need aol except for email). If your contribution is added you will be given credit is you want it. So please in one way or another say

What you want to contribute(some stat or suggestion or even a question/answer for the FAQ), if you want credit and if you do what you want to be listed as. If you want to be listed as Bob the super commando il put it, if you want your email address il put that, and so forth. Should none of you decide to help, my guide should still be finished by weeks end.

Well, the bit about how Vibroknuckles do horrid damage but up your speed is pretty well known (4.0 barehand hitting in 90's as a novice trandoshan brawler vs 2.3 hitting in mid 80's with uncertified VK's)...

I think making a point to mention that you need to Apprentice other people whenever you have the opportunity (my current sticking point for Master marksman).

A short note on how you can only store 2x the exp needed for your next skill (1000 to get intermediate pistol skill in marksman, all past 2k was lost, thankfully I checked it quickly and only lost about 500 pistol exp in the interim)

A link to this board, obviously. Best source and best (if grumpiest) community on SWG.

A constant repeating of the near-hymnal quality song 'Lynch is Our King'.

Mentioning that a sense of humor is required to get your way to even Novice Commando.

Oh, and as a request... I've checked a couple of places and the only 'Commando Trainer' listing i've found has several errors including marking a Marksman Trainer as a Commando Trainer at that /loc. As I'll be needing one soon....

Lynch, Commando-in-Training

Everyone: 'Lynch is Our King... He can't sing... But he'll blast you down... he'll blast the town... Lynch is Our King....'

so by weeks end you will have a commando guide. what happens with the new patch changes after that? the path to commando will be alot different then, and your efforts will be in vain, and possibly misleading. seems like a waste of time to me. perhaps you shouldwait until the commando fix patch then come out with your "commando guide".

If/when the patch goes live the guide will be updated. Gamefaqs allows for updates, if other sites dont allow updates then i will have to wait on those. BTW to all the people in this post who postd training locations and stuff do you want your credit to be your forum name?

Please address all fan mail, death threats, offers of marriage, and credit where credits due to His Royal Commandoness, Lynch (or just Lynch, if you're picky). Thanks from me to Everyone who responded with locations for Commando trainers... I'm currently on Tattooine (Mos Espa) but a field trip to Rori or Correlia isn't out of line. Kind of suprised there isn't a commando trainer in Anchorhead but with the current inequities of AT-ST vs Me w/Big Gun, I'm also kind of suprised there is so much as a Bazaar Terminal standing in Anchorhead.

And for those keeping score... Lynch's Countdown to Commando - 420/620 Apprentice exp, 12500 of 40000 Combat exp. And Lynch's Bank account after scrapping his old scout blaster, buying a new one, loaning 10k to a friend to help her do some mining, gettingthe scout blastersliced (1.4 speed , a trip to Lok then Dathomir for cash that more or less broke even.... 1022 credits. So at 1.72 Womprat a minute, 1 lair every 12 minutes it will take me roughly... Not sure if I'll have 100k for composite armor set or the 40k combat exp first... I'll keep you posted.
