Commando Archive

Alright, I don't post, this is in fact my first one, but I always keep up to date on the commando stuff.

I started out sometime last summer, and being a newbie for the first time was fun. But the best part then si that people didn't grind out entire professions and become gods likethat. People then actually had "skill"? I suppose you'd call it. Anyways, I am still like that. It takes me a lnog, very lnog time to master something. I go to school and play sports, heck I'm only a teenager, and for crying out loud I've had the game almost a year I've only mastered marksman. That because I use a combination of commando, smuggler, rifleman, and CH. But this is besides the points. This is about being a commando.

I had been checked by a stormtrooper, and usually this turns out well since I am part smuggler. But he caught me this time, and just my luck theres an overt imperial Master TK next to me. I flamesingle2 the stormie and run like a madman. Then I find myself overt and in Anchorhead. I decide, why not, I'll PvP a bit. I only need Acid 4 and Heavy weps 4 for master. So I see a guy shuttle in, full comp, wearing the novice medic title. Not fooled by it, I had no choice but to tail him, and when i did, he starts running. He gets his overt status while running and I start firing. He hides in a building and is right around the corner. Knocks me down, kills me quickly. Boom. He wasn't even a TKA, he was a swordsman. I clone, I get outside, i shrug it off and get out mygraul outto get ready for some other missions. This guy comes up to me and has the nerve to start trash talkin' and whatever he was dumb. Anyways he says "I can beat you with no armor or buffs" (I had neither, i use my money on donations formy town and have never attempted composite) and "I can beat you with my rifle. Pulls out a tusken rifle. This guys cocky, but in guild discipline I say "I will fight you again if you want, but I am not in the mood for another deathblow." he agrees no deathblow. I engage, he pulls out his melee weapon, knocks me down, kills me, and starts the trash talkin again. Says it was a macro. God I hate some people.

Well thats my sad, badly written story. But the morale is some people just can't be trusted, and oh yea this too. COMMANDOS CAN'T TAKE ANY MORE ABUSE FROM THE DEVS! Man I remember a time when commandos were gods. I always wanted to be one with my character lol. I spent forever on it since sometimes i get less than 15 minutes a week to play. And the minute I reach novice, our stuff is nerfed. Look how strong melee elite professions are. I couldn't even hit the guy and I had a dead eye accuracy buff that I kept for such an occasion. (I'm at flame 4 accuracy isn't a prob)

Godly professions in PvP:

All melee "elite" professions (Usually means they spam a knockdown)

Combat Medic (Spam disease)

Rifleman (Spam Headshot) (I'm one too so iI'm not dissing the profession jsut the technique in PvP)

PvP battles last about two seconds a piece. It's usualyl whoever is knocked down first.

Devs, are you ever gonig to balance out these professions? Because I think that PvP shouldn't exist until there is some fairness involved. Doesn't anyone agree?
