Thread: Did they fix commando?
The last battle I was in yesterday, I was using a flamethrower. Yes, I know it's inaccurate but for now I was a master smuggler and master commando. Which I'm changing because I did the math of smuggler and commando after the tenth publish and I'm really guessing they'll just be mixed-professions, Heavy Acid Rifle will get rifle attacks, and I hate rifles way too big and bulky. Smuggler will get a little bit of everything, but I don't think it'll be a real serious profession because it'll need something else to include with it to make it good, having the unarmed and pistol changes. I don't like how close you have to be with unarmed, and my whole imperial status really just makes me kind of sick seeing the, "a simple imperial safety device" for every weapon I slice. I also now realized that limited weapons, while powerful is also expansive. You buy an expansive rocket launcher, you buy expansive rockets, you buy new rockets every battle costing you 100,000 credits per battle. Well, --- on to what I wanted to say. I was using my flamethrower, and I swear, I wasn't doing so bad at all! I did around twenty tried hits and only missed once, while we were moving because it was two vs. one, he was losing. Even when I was out of range for flame single 2, every regular attack but one hit, and all flame single 2 hit him! Did they fix commando during that last patch up or something? I thought it was just Image Designer fixes? (If your wondering, I'm going master pistoleer and master pikeman, with master brawler added in for extra flavor I love pikeman because the cool weapons and pistoleer because of the close-combat and the use of republic blaster.) I swear, they fix stun damage on composite (or add in more armor in), add in Armor Piercing Protection to add/less encumbrance, and fix commando and bounty hunter and it wouldn't be so bad at all. Meh, add in posture changes defense with general melee/range damage migration. (Though the battles will take days --- nerf the armor afterwards?)
Even if everything was working as it should for the Commando, there are still improvements I would like to see.
However, only one fully functional column out of four? Of course we're not happy about it. If the HAR functioned properly with a DOT, if the grenade stacks had 10 and we could throw them 40 or so meters, if the disposable weapon column contained worthwhile weapons for the price, then there'd be a lot fewer complaints, maybe just suggestions for improvement.
Ah to dream....
