Thread: Best use for Rocket Launchers?
Yeah hehe....Im down to one 35 RL stack atm from 3 that lasted over 5 months...
Ive only used about 4 shots in the past few months as well...3 of which was saturday/sunday 11 hour mission grind...it was on creatures that had blast vuln...a few good sized ones as well.....well 1-2 hit...and took like 1/3 of the ham (AR 1) of about 12k ham...I killed them faster with my FT.../sigh
Anyway, we're not really the kings of blast damage these days, the talk is that swordsmen does more damage than us with their power hammers. That alone doesn't make me want to rely on rocket launchers.
I agree...I've never missed on a lair....but I have missed against a Turret...

I don't think you can miss when attacking structures/lairs.

I only use them for attacking turrets, At master do they pretty good for accuracy on turrets, but against npc's and pc's its very hard to hit them. have a 50+ accuracy is nice but It will only help a little. and yes the 3700 dmg is nice as long as you didnt have to make thereally highto get that dmg.
Wow i dont know what i was doing with this post, i really messed it up, let me try to fix this.
Most Commandos will not that when using a 30 shot RL, they will actually connect with their targets about 18 times...So the Accuracy is pretty bad even at the Master level.
As for how to best utilize them. PvE, I've found they are a good way to start a fight (since they force you to stop and kneel) or when in a group and the target isn't aggro'd on you...PvP, I've rarely found a good use for them as it is very hard to connect with a moving target...the only time I'd use them PvP is if it involves attacking a Player controlled Turrent...
Every Commando should have at least 1 or 2 RLs, but sales don't do well for RLs because hardly any Commandos use them these days...they only use them for special occasions which means they last a long time...I actually still have the same Damage sliced RL I bought when I first became a Commando...and it still has 18 shots left...
