I have a pair of speakers in my house but they don't do anything. I would love to have a unit that goes with them that would play music so I could use it to create dance routines in private before I brought them to the club... I'm not looking for a replacement for a band either... even if it was just the basic with no flourishes would be fine.

Is maybe a little meter that that lights up if you do something towards unlocking your slot. not necassarily something that lights up when you do the specific thing but something that would indicate that you have completed a step in the process. I know this would probably be too exploitable(giving away too much)but it sure would do a lot to help players get over the frustration of trying to get the FS slot opened up. Anyway I dont think the devs even read this board, so kind of a waste of time to post this.

Ok I see your point but there is a basic problem with your basic concept. You believe that it is a good thing to make unlocking a FSCS easier and less frustrating. The whole point for all the loopholes and mystery is so that it is almost impossible to unlock a FSCS. They want to keep it very rare so that not anyone can become a jedi. Another reason why they should not indicate when you accomplished something that leads to a FSCS is that they would prefer that players not even know how they did finally manage to open the slot. Between that and having different methods for each player keeps becoming a jedi exceedingly rare.

no, i think you misunderstood, i am saying i see why they dont do it, becuase of those pts you made. I agree it would make it too exploitable. but they could space out the indication to a few days after the actual event. i agree though too exploitable.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!

I wear an outfit that has the bicep piece all the time, well all the time I'm not wearing my new set of custom made padded armour. Actually one outfit it centred around that bicep piece with everything matching it.

I'd absolutely love to get nightsister clothing, even better if I could actually become one but one step at a time.

I like that idea a lot, maybe a "veteran" item of clothing or something.

That is a nice idea. And it doesn't slight the newcomers either - if they're serious about it and stay in the profession for X amount of time, they'll get the reward too.

Since it goes back and forth about the AFK grinders versus the profession lovers _ I think SOE as a whole shoul dgive acknowledgment where it is due - in less then a month I will have been an ME/MM for over a year - they should do something for the the people that have stuck it out for their profession over the long haul. Badge - gift appropriate for the prof. etc. It would do something to seperate the long timers from the short timers.

Commandos are a deadly and intelligent sort, using their surroundings and best weapons to efficiently dispatch their enemies. What i'm getting at is this: For example the Green Berets most likely the top teir of all commandos on earth use tactics that involve training of indigenous cultures to fight for their cause. Also they aregenerally unconventional when it comes to the battlefield...because they are generally in groups of two and that is not effective versus multiple enemies. They use airstrikes and mining to their advantage to destroy their targets.

So here is the point: Commandos in SWG should use similar tactics to their advantage, there should be a teir devoted to training various NPCs to fight for you. It would add a whole new element to the game. Along the lines of combat i would like to also see the use of orbital strikes...for example using a laser to paint your target, then a starship strikesthat designated target. Of course i would make this type of attack incredibilly hard to perform because it is such a powerful tool. Most likely having to be a certain distance away and there is a good chance you would be discovered...but of course you wouldmost likely want a couple of other guys laying down suppression fire while you perform this action. This is of cousejust an idea todiversify the professionsin the game...please feel free to add on to or criticize my ideasi welcomethem.
