Thread: The Commando's so powerful... I want to cry

Out of happiness!!! I can't believe it. The last time I played SWG, my Commando character would be lucky to make it out with half health points attacking a dwarf nuna with my flame-thrower!!

I remember when Commando was useless and a load full of crap! I remember when the flame-thrower took one minute to shoot and when it missed 90% of the time. All of that just to get a measily 59 Heavy Weapons XP!!

After my grueling match with a Corellian Butterfly, I said to myself, "I cannot cannot cannot WAIT for the day someone screams NERF COMMANDO!".

And here it is. I just saw someone scream nerf commando. I'm so happy, I'm gonna cry!

Where the hel have you been? They have been yelling nerf commandos since they fixed the problems you talked about, so we got nerfed. Now they are looking to remove the nerf and everyone is already yelling nerf again even befor its happened. We dont even get a moments chance to just be happy and have fun befor those damned badgers attack us.

I think its people who want to be billy bad ass in PvP without dedicating as many of their skill points to combat to where they cant go do as many diferent things.

I say make commandos and BHs and even combat medics and squad leaders, any hybrid combat profession, the gods of PvP to where the only way otherwise you can match em is if you spend every skill point you have in a combat role be it any marksman, brawler, CH(even medic or scout) that can be used tactically. Then tell everyone if they want to hang, spend more skill points toward combat and quit whining.

Commando's don't need nerfing, only the flamer DOT does. Aside from that the profession actually needs a bit of a boost to accuracy in several areas.

Back then, the game was so broken, bugged and BORING, that it was not worth my time and money to play this game. But I check in now and then to see how everything's coming and I'm really happy to see the Commando in such a powerful state.

Yeah, they're making some progress, but they got a ways to go yet.
