Thread: Enough SP for one other Commando tree.

Ok folks. I'm keeping Flamethrower and I have enough skill points for one more commando tree. What does everybody recommend? Grenades, Heavy Weapons, or Acid Rifle? ^_^ I look forward to suggestions.

I'd say go for the heavy weps. HAR is borked atm, and grenades imo aren't worth it.

I have been toying with grenades recently and i find they are just as effective as HSW but unfortunatly requre you to be within about 30m for a sure fire hit. The only advantage I find is that I can buy a crate of 25 proton grenades (125 uses) for 25k. Maybe I got lucky and found a Weaponsmith that charges SANE prices. Oh well its for you to toy with.. at least you cna get our wimpy Def modifiers with FieldTactis Tree:-)

almost forgot my avg dmg with a Thermal Deatonator is 3.5-4k (since protons can only be used effectively by master commandos)

I was using some frag grenades and they seemed pretty useful. Do they knock down the opponent or what? Def. mods are always good, too. ^_^
