So who's excited about JTL? I know your answers "who CARES, give us the CR and Docs!" It's true, alot of people in general are quite.....angry......about the whole thing, not just Commando's, Creature Handlers,Bounty Hunters.......or that Master Chef that killed me the other day
, consider this a Hang in there post, we can't get stuck in the angry rut or we will be impossible to satiate. I am by no means defending any of the excuses that we have received, but I am worried about our community, we no longer talk and post. This is becuase we are tapped out, we feel neglected and un-heard and worst of all some of us may be board with the game. We've been at this along time and well have to be at it a bit longer, I for one am beyond pissed off, but being angry about it wont get anything done and will make the waiting that much more unbearable. I don't know about the rest of you, but here's a drink to all my fellow Commandos' that have stuck it through this whole buisiness.
/toast
/drink
/salute.
I am fully aware that this is a completely non constructive post. Just wanna see some people come back to the forums.

We came, We Saw, We waited! LMAO!
JTL is buggy as hell...from what I've heard. But if thier effort into it is anything like what they will do with the combat revamp...I think it will be sweet brothers! Damnit...Hang IN THERE!

Info for the masses:
i was on the verge of shutting my account down when i received a beta invitation. since i am of course insanely curious, i opted to give it a try. heres what i wanna share with my fellow commandos.
first of all, yes, its buggy. but anyone who has ever done any beta testing knows that betas are always buggy. Primarily this comes from not having set all the code in stone. it also stems from not having put full server resources towards running the program, and lastly, its from various errors that the programmers fixed. but thats what beta testers are there for!
all of this aside, JTL is a more than worthy addition to the game that at the very least will take your mind completely off the combat rebalance issues for a while.
anyone who has kept an eye out for my previous posts knows that i was boycotting JTL until the revamp, and raised hell about it numerous times. i still dont think the DEVS are doing everything in their power to make this game great, and i think the changes they have made havent helped much in the last year.
but now i understand where most of their attention is.
btw, JTL doesnt just cover space flight. there are alot of improvements groundside that will take effect too. mostly smaller stuff, but every little bit helps.
Now i could be totally wrong, and after getting JTL running, the DEVs drop the ball in favor of EQ2 or something, but my attitude about everything has done a complete 180.
its going to be worth sticking around for.

I to have played a bit o' JTL. Nbd9k is right, it is buggy, and to be expected. I do quite enjoy myself when I am playing beta, probably has mostly to do with the new experience of it all mostly. JTL will and is fun, and it will take some getting used to (Twitch based and all) but it all burns down to one thing, which is: It'll add another dimension to the game. But for me it adds something different.......it brings the combat revamp closer to the real world instead of it existing in the world of Fantasy for us gamers. All in all I think JTL will be a good thing, keep in mind that it will be different, very different.

I think that the problem is that people said everything that could have been said...and we beat that horseso much that it's beyond dead now. If we had continued on that path we could have designed a brand spanking new MMO. hehe. The half-glass full people would say that this is the calm before the storm (Doc release)but I stay mum because I dont evensee a cup orstormthanks to our no Doc situation.
