I have a story to tell you all about - I think youll find it very interesting:

I have been out of the game for approximately 5 months, and left as a master commando. My wife was also a master commando. We had to leave SWG for some terrible family hardships, hated it - but you know how it is sometimes. All is well now, and as I was browsing in the forums(yes i still checked up on my fellow commandos, even while absent) I saw that invitation thingy and thought - WHY NOT! All is well with the fam now. so we talked and said what the heck. Well get our old characters back and well pick up where we left off.

Heres the interesting part - I had to go buy a new game - due to mine being lost in the 800 mile move to my hometown. And figured what a perfect time to fix the cd drive - bought a brand new dvd drive and popped the sucker in - ready to start grilling rancors again - and IMPS lol. All loaded well, except one thing - me and my wife were both banned!!!!! Neither me or my wife ever did one unlawful thing in this game and always played according to the way we commandos think - suck it up and drive on - despite all the hardships we have been faced with.(I took much advice from Ivonni in climbing th ranks - we all know she is one of the supreme commandos of this game - props to you Ivonni!) After numerous phone calls to SOE/Lucas Arts - I was sent to the email zone - after many emails telling me i needed to send them more info - I resorted to calling SOE/Lucas Arts again - I was now informed that our past account when we cancelled was in error or something - very vague response - and was told to go back to emailing. I told him that this was unacceptable and would like a phone number of someone i could talk to and included that i would pay whatever it takes to get this resolved. My operators ingenius response was - get this - "They dont have phones there sir" - GIMME A FRIGGIN BREAK!!!

I was sent back to emailing and just gave up and started from scratch. Upon entering the game - i talked with several other players and found that many of them went through the same thing. - How unacceptable is this!

oh well - So I am finding the grind much easier - especially with all the buffs, and am eagerly looking forward to flaming peeps with my fellow commando community once again. I quote Ivonni "its all about the pretty little blowtorch". As for all the bugs and setbacks we have faced and still face today - I want to encourage you all that overcoming these obstacles does make us better commandos - the ability to overcome and adapt in both PvP and PvE really does strengthen our tactics and strategies - and who knows, they may actually fix that stinkin HAR afterall. I am very encouraged by all the new stuff in the game - and a big shout out to all my new jedi and commando friends helping me with the grind. My first kill with my little hate machine (FT - I bought a very expensive one for that glorious day) will be for you Ivonni - I still have nothing but respect for you and all the rest of the incredible bunch of peeps in the commando community.

Look for me on the Gorath Server as Malikye - and if you see me getting hammered - please - by all means - send a blast of flaming hot lovin my way - i miss the smell of napalm in the morning LOL!!!

Cant wait to see yall soon - Ill be going imp this time - just to see what its like

WB to the fold... i honestly at first glance thot this was goin to be another commando or SOEflame but it wasnt and /salute u for that even tho u went thru that crap with SOE.

Anyway WB, always good to see commandos return as well as new commandos come in so...

that was....beautiful!!!

lol - yes i thought that peeps were going to think it was a flame too after writing it - but just took to long to write to revise. I never flame em - i just drive on with the mission hehe. Thanks for the warm welcome - it kinda sux having to grind again - but then again - i keep telling myself, "I always would say if i could go back and redo this part of my commando" - guess now i can and this template will be much better. Good to be back on the battlefield with yall again
