What the...?!!?!?!
Now wait one stinkin' minute here....
Last time Imentioned the Beam Rifle, an angry mob queued up in my thread, complete with PitchForks and Torches.....
I had to run into a cave and barricade myself in, using my un-certed Beam Rifle to hold off the rabid horde.
So, in conclusion:
OMGWTFBBQ!!!!
P.S. Doing something interesting with the Beam Rifle and making it beneficial to Commandos gets my vote.

hehe..nowadays, nobody will be using pitchforks and torches - they used to be in the game, but the certifcates were removed in beta

Hi all,
firstly, I mastered commando last night...fulfilling a promise I made to myself about 8 months ago when I dropped it at almost master level to return. Main reasons for returning? - sheer fun of the profession, hopes for improvement and also its got the best corresp on the boards.
now for my question (after trying to flatter Garvin to get any info out of him)....is there ANY indication (within the terms of NDAs etc,etc) that ANYONE (hint - garvin) has seen or heard thatsuggests I will one day be able to at last take my trust beam rifle out of my bank account and actually use it? - this must be one of teh buggest and long lasting bug bears Ive had - WHY go to the tourble of creating a weapon and no giving any certificate for it!!!!

yeah -it was a beta issue I think Iveread posts saying that it was withdrawn then...but we've been asking for AP1 for so long and guess what? - the beam rifle is AP1.....
I know deep down that the bea rifle has gone, never to return, but its always worth asking, espcially since the CB is nearing and certificates are being reviewed....

The Beam Riffle was discussed at the Summit but I never heard a confirmation on what the plan for it was...Honestly, I haven't heard if we are getting the Cert for it...But then again, I haven't heard any profession specifically getting a cert for it...
I'll bring it up again to the Devs and see if I can get a response...
PS...congrats on getting Master.../21 FlameThrower Salute...

i think just to REALLY annoy us we will never get the cert for beam rifle.
Someone else will.

haha, i can see that, they alrdy got about as much Def as us why not give em a weapon we should have, haha.
