I bought a speed powerup for my launcher pistol last night, even with the 98 - 630 damage range I was getting at 1.9 speed I still managed to outdamage the bounty hunter in my group, he has BH Pistol 2 and Carbine 3. I did pick up novice pistoleer though, just for the extra accuracy and speed. The three mobs we tested on were rebel generals, I recieved 1800-1975 HW EXP, and he recieved 625-800 BH Pistol EXP.

Wow. What powerup did you drop on there? I have a +33 to damage and it raises my guns stat to 270 or so and I hit for high 300's maybe scratch 400. 100 charges btw

Sorry those were the actual damage numbers on the mobs, not the damage on the pistol. My pistol is 49-198 2.6 spd, the damage was sliced by 16%, unfortunately I'm on Starsider, one of the worst servers for exceptional resources.
