Thread: Evening Classes
hey listen ok, commandos are totally **edit**ed up , and i agree with ya we all are waiting for fixes , and everyone know.
But , with my launcher pistol i do ALONE from 10 to 20 snorballs (all together) on Lok's Missions...
Remember if u'r profession is broken , if nothing works , let u'r personal skill to get over this and ya will do something good anyway.
ps. i would like to see the face of that 2 expert bounty hunters i slained yesterday in bestine..they should be a lot frustrated to be killed from a crappy commando .

I agree with you that Commando needs to be fixed. I really want to see Commando get fixed. I am about 15k combat xp away from Novice Commando.
Anyway, I disagree with two of your statements above:
1) Novice Bounty Hunters cannot solo red cons that easily. Maybe you were just trying to emphasize how weak the Commando class is right now.
2) You not only need scouting xp (for Exploration and Hunting), but also Trapping and Survival xp. Trapping isn't all that easy. The Survival might be considered easy, but this is time consuming! I heard they fixed the xp earned after the "Big Fix", but when I was working on Survival, I got 640 xp for sitting in the Level II camp for 40 minutes!
Getting survival was the most annoying chore I've had to face in this game. Yeah, yeah, share your ideas on how to get survival faster. Doesn't matter. I tried it all. Finally, I found that I would just have to grind it out over a few days.
So, I earned master Scout, I earned Master Marksman, and I earned BH.
I can't wait to combine my BH skills with Commando. Even if I cannot make it to Master in either profession, it will be so much fun to torch marks with a flamethrower (when they get fixed).

I agree Master Scout is cake. I did it in 3 days. I have a great little macro that runs while I sleep to get that Survival Exp. I just ran it each night when I went to bed.
However, it use to take about the same amount of time when I did it to get the unarmed exp. Without Virbro Kunuckles able to be used for a Brawler this might be harder. I really don't know as I didnt have to face that.
I know anovice BH and he can take down reds easily. He's completed 1/4th of the BH skill tree. Actually he had over half ofit completedbut gave most of it up.
Heck, I can take down some of the easier red's without a problem, sometimes 3 atone time and I've only got about1/4th of pistoleer.But the BH can do it all at virtually no risk of getting incap'd

3 days? Let me guess, you only put in about 2.5-3 hours each of those days to pull this off (besides the macro-ing).

Yes, it is... especially after being reliant on good ranged weapons.

Hmmm... if he completed 1/4 of the BH tree, I wouldn't call him a novice, even if that was the highest title he could hang over his head. Sounds like he had plenty of weapons skill to take down those red mobs.

Again, you are exagerating. You have to be higher levels to pull off what you are suggesting. It isn't that easy even for them. For you to throw in the "sometimes 3 [reds] at one time" seems to prove to me that you really aren't as bad off as you would like people to believe.
Anyway, why does everybody want the classes to be "equal." That is crazy. You want to pick out a class to nerf down to your level? Pick CH... still the strongest class.
