Lol. I love the punishment we take during that 9-20 secs. What are you guys doing to minimize the horrid beatings we are taking. Love to hear your stories.

Last night, I took a SEVERE pounding at a reb base after flaming a Lieutenant Colonel and missing. What a hoot. But we still wiped em after a while. Hehe.

Any strategies out there to minimize the stomping aside from running or kiting without shooting (i.e., run around your tgts)?

Not much you can do other then run around and hope to mess up their accuracy. When in pvp the one thing i noticed that I don't like is that ifyou kill someone with a flame special you can't d/b until your timer is up? I think thats kinda crappy because usually by that time someone has come up and killed my target. Anyone else feel the same?

i send my pet in (a dewback) first to draw aggro, hit the flame 1 special and either loot the body or wait..... wait... wait.... flame 1 special again and either loot body or wait....

I like the last one. Intiate PLAN ALPHA (run around like crazy and hope for the best) HAHA. Great fun.

Put your FT on your toolbar and unequip it as soon as your special goes off. That way you get your unarmed bonus while waiting for the timer to recycle.

If im fighting rebels, I try to make sure theres a corner I can run around once I have fired.

Nothing as fun as firing a special, then dodge around a corner, and keep sprinting corners and trees and walls until I can fire again...and they come around the last corner, at about 14m distance from me..and they meet another flame....

Also plan around a bit, so theres no water nearby, just in case.

When I'm in the wild...I pray...I curse...I beg..until my heal kicks in, and I start to fire again...then I fire a special again...and start praying again....

Well for pvp i run, try to put solid objects between me and the implice who dare attack.

PvE i just run around trying to put solid objects between me and the npc who dare attack.

I suppose if i used pets and or a probot i could try to get them to take the aggro, but i dont use either, so i dont really know.

is the long delay happen on flame 1 or 2? because on flame single/cone 1 I only have about 6-7 second delay, people need to slice their flamer speed instead damage.
