please stop with the whining. It could be worse.. You could have choses Squad Leader or Bio Engineer.. I dropped BE for Commando... It's a lot more fun, and we are alot better off then 90% of the other professions.

So until every other profession is fixed we shouldn't try and get things fixed / improved in our own profession? Ummm...no

Yes....most professions are broken in some fashion or other...and every profession has some reason it's needs help over all the other professions...boo hoo...These forums are for us to express what we see as wrong with our professions and that's what most people are using them for...

No...we are not as bad off as some of the professions...but YES, we do have issues that need to be dealt with if we are to have a more balanced profession. Many of these fixes are sitting on TC right now...some haven't even been dealt with yet...And some are way back on the list of goals...But all in all, the same major themes keep popping up in what we all agree is wrong...We will never achieve perfection as a mutual opinion, but aslong as the major issues are addressed, we can enjoy our game.

Until we feel our profession is where we want it to be (and everyone is entiled to their own opinion on this) we all have the right to complain / whine....We worked hard to get where we are, our choosen profession, and we earned the right to stick up for it...How would the dev's even know we had issues to be dealt with if we said nothing?

In the meantime, I will go out and suport other professions in getting the reasonable fixes they desire in hopes they will support me...

So stop whining about whiners....

I don't see a lot of out and out whining by commandos on the commando forum. There's some griping and complaining, but not alot of whining... except by people who were dumb enough to get in flame special range.

Personally I'd like to see a "statement of intent" for the profession from the dev team, and for the necessary adjustments to the profession to be made to bring it in line with that intent. I'd like to see that for every profession - first, a statement that tells people what to expect from the profession, and then the action to make it a reality.

This will do alot of things, including telling people who are in the professions right now, if they should get out and where they should be going.

It's hard to whine when ya can work off your frustrations by flaming something really BIG from extremely close up.

I understand yes other professions may be more broke. I also understand that some comandos are doing just fine depending on their support skills. I just today saw a comando, or maybe just a CH/flame dabler laying out a whole group of PCs in PvP but I did see he had a nice pet with him also, and he sure hit a lot more than what I can.

I tryed many professions befor heading for comando so I know more than comando are broke, but it didnt get me killed on a regular basis. I only got flame 2 so far so I miss a lot and can find myself in a lot of trouble just from meatlumps which I had no problem with just pistol 4. I understand this all sucks even for a master comando or flame 4 since mastery gives you CRAP, but just imagine how I've been through the end of my flame 1 and flame 2 during this at the same time of being afraid of going after friggin meatlumps.

So more broken depends on how you look at it. It's no fun to be weaker with my "elite, hybrid" profession than I was with one of the base skills that got me there. I'm sick of dying all the time to things that should be just craters in the ground for my profession.
