I just bought a new rocket launcher and was wondering if someone could help me out with something simple. I was in a cave today and was ready to try it out on a closely spaced group of NPCs. I can't seem to equip it like other weapons so I assumed that I should just target whatever I wanted to use it on and then click on the rocket launcher and choose the "Fire" option on the radial dial. I did so and absolutely nothing happened. I tried a few times and it wouldn't fire no matter what it seemed. I can only assume that I must be doing something wrong here and am a little embarrassed to ask this question because I feel like I must be being an idiot. I'm not though, I promise! Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Drag the launcher (or any other charged weapon) to an empty hotkey slot and fire it that way. The radial doesn't seem to work on them (or stims and vitality packs, for that matter)

Oh, and zoom out to 3rd person view when you fire one of those heavy weaps off. Trust me

My heavy weapons don't work in caves. At all. Didn't work in the Warren either. Same with grenades. Of course, killing myself once with a grenade was enough of a lesson for me.

Thanks for the tips folks. I'll give the toolbar ideaa shot ( pun intended ) and see how that works out for me.
