Hi commandoes. I'm expanding my business into heavy weapons and grenades, and I'd like to know which of these weapons you prefer, and what stats I should maximize while producing them.

So, which grenades are useful? Which heavy weapons are useful? For your favorites, which is most important: damage, speed, range or stack size? Would you prefer to buy in crates, singles, or sliced singles?

Thanks.

I'm baaaaaack
And it looks like I'll be going again.

Grenades have a bad taste to many Commandos but in light of recent things on this board, here's some pointers.

- The grenades will all top off in stacks of 5.

- Your high end grenades: Proton and Thermal Detonators will cost quite a few credits. If you intend to sell crates of them, keep their numbers low.

- Your low end grenades: C12, C22, Cryoban, and Glop Grenades, to a degree will sell quicker. The cheaper grenades will be more likely to be used for grinding xps by players, so having more crates of these may be useful.

- In light of recent findings on this board, experimentinga little withrange & accuracy for grenades will be useful. The big damage grenades you see (Proton, Thermal Detonators) have nice damage mods, but the optimal throwing ranges you will find are frequently inside the blast radius! It'll be a touchy give & take as far as damage vs range/accuracy goes.

Heavy Weapons

- Flamethrowers are your money maker on these, hands down. Keep a small number of Hvy Acid Rifles for the curious. Having a decent number of Light Lightning Cannons for the Bounty Hunters is also a real good idea.

- Damage is all important with these things, but keeping the speed low is critical. If you can keep your Flamethrowers at about the 4.3 speed or lower, that's great. Keep in mind, there are players who prefer damage for their Flamethrowers (1000 max damage).

Heavy Support Weapons

- Experiment with accuracy/range, please!

- Rocket Launchers are popular but I have heard they take tons of resources and an insane amount of time/factory runs to create.

- I'm a little fond of HPBCs but the Heavy Acid Launcher is decent. The HAL can have low speed and is accurate at shorter ranges.

Hopefully some others can come in and make more suggestions or corrections to what I've said.

Oh yeah:

Grenades have been a recurring subject here lately. Take a look at this thread. There have been some Master Weaponsmiths/Commando 4000's that have input here. I'm sure they can provide you with better crafter information than I possibly could.
