Thread: Concerning the rumored new weapons on TC...

I cant say if these are fake or not, or this is reliable...but I have heard about some of these while trolling about....
The Cybernetics caught me offguard really badly...but the "Intimidator" and the shotgun....especially the intimidator (sorta looked more like a carbine/rifle...assault rifle than a pistol) looked commando-y...
Could it be the beginning?

I was thinking the same thing myself, though they are all officially classified as either pistols or carbines it seems. I guess we'll have to wait until patch 10 (or later) to see exactly how the weapons will be added (Though I would like to see some of those added to a standard weaponry line replacing the HSW tree... I can dream anyways.)

Well maybe to make things simplier...our secondary weaponry will just be pistols heh....and this intimidator is simply an upgraded LP with less lag...or just a high AP weapon or something
Lots of questions, very little answers....we can hope at least

IF they stick with making weapons at least the same type of weapon as the name implies (which we all know is not always true,
T-21 Light Repeating Blaster ).
).The 1st picture "Intimidator" is likely the Merr-Sonn IR5 "Intimidator", a pistol designed to fire at a high rate of speed (think Uzi blaster).
The 4th picture might be a Merr-Sonn "Decksweeper" stun blaster, think rapidfire shotgun that does nonlethal damage.
The 6th picture looks like a Baktiod Armor Workshop E-5 "Droid blaster" or possiblly the original Blastech design they copied (cheaply produced carbine).
The 7th picture seems to show a Merr-Sonn Model 434 "Deathhammer", a heavy pistol design, favored by bounty hunters.
The Alliannce Needler and the new pistol repeatly pictured maybe a revamped way for CMs to poison and disease at range instead of the throwing a never miss packet of sniffles at people.

Talked with garvin last night....none of these weapons have been confirmed by the devs....and he hasn't recieved any word in any of his inquiries about them...
Cross your fingers but don't hope too much...

yes...the certs wouldn't be out as these haven't been fully introduced yet...just from that .tre file
Lets hope it is a surprise from the devs so quell ppl thinking that all they care about are the jedi....

I checked and can not find the certs for these in any profession on test center. It might just be artwork for NPCs either that or its the suprise that the devs were talking about.
