Ok just thought I'd drop this in here and see what the real commandos thought about it. A little preface, I always wanted to be a commando from day 1, thenI found out that commando was really a heavy weapons guys, not the all around fighter I expected. I wanted something like a special forces soldier. And the depleteable weapons worried me Anyways, after realizing that it wasn't what I wanted I dabbled around in various things from crafting to pikeman to BH. My favorite part ofBHwas the carbines, now I'm back to looking into commando, andcame up with my dabbler template of what I thinka commando should be*. Here it is:

BH 0-4-0-0

Commando 4-0-4-0

Carbineer 1-3-4-0

Medic 0-0-3-0

plus the novice level prereqs that we all know

This gives me speedcap with a carbine up to 4.0 speed, carbine accuaracy of +145 (watch out def stackers!) and some pidly defenses.I also have a range of KD shots, plus posture change shots. Plus the ability to use stim C's.

So what do some of you think of this? I do 80% PvE, so I'm not too worried about the low defenses, my main concern is if I can hit anything with Flame IV. I've read the grenade thread, and my alt is leveling WS so I can make high accuracy grenades, so I'm less worried about that tree.

Also has anyone tried to make a weapon switch macro that starts with /peace?I knoticed there is no delay in switching when you are not fighting. I have a macro that jumps to toolbar 6 picks a weapon and then switches back to a toolbar with specials for that weapon. I wishI would have thought of it last night when I was playing instead of while sitting in traffic on my way to work. It would seem that you could do this and then just hit a special key to restart the combat. Question is if "you stop fighting" is enough to remove the delay or if there needs to be no combat at all.

* I know many of you love commando and I am in no way trying to degrade the profession, this is just more along the lines of what I think a commando is - ok PC B.S. out of the way - have a nice day
