Thread: Correspondent Summit Still on For End of August

GARVIN IF I CAN MAKE A REQUEST...
1. DO NOT GO "FAN BOY "ON US ! - This is priority # 1, please remeber that you are speaking for over a thousand voices, stick to the issues, Do not be itimidated by the developers and please, please, do not give in at any point. If they say they will not do this, or they wont do that, you make sure to ask "WHY "and then ask them againevery 2 minutes till they listen to us!
2. HOLD YOUR OWN ! - Do not let any other correspondents muscle in on your "AIR" time with the Devs. Its gonna happen, your gonna have that one guy that is gonna wanna ask questions during his "AIR" time and then ask question during your "AIR" time. Feel free to b!tch slap his punk a$$ if needed and boot him out of the summit.
3. FIND OUT THE COMBAT EQUATION - Can we find outhow the combat equation exactly works, for exampleat what point does the 75%PvP reduction come into the equation ? At the beginning ? At the end ? Are there any Hardcaps in place ?At what point in the equation do we recieve our 50% -75% bonus for using heavy armor piercing damage ?When isRange mitigation addedinto the equation ?At what point is Center of Being or Unarmed Toughness or any other defense skill or buffadded into the equation ?Knowing thecombatequation from beginning ( pressing the attack button )to end ( seeing the final gross damagenumber )will help us understand better why we are not dominating on the battlefield.
4. HEAVY WEAPONSNEED TO BE AP 2 OR AP 3 - I will harponthis till the day I quit this game, All Heavy weapons need todo Medium to Heavy Armor Piercing Damage. AsCommandos we rely on doing as much damage as possible in one shot,NOT damage over time. We are the" One shot killers " and " Heavy Hitters " of the Galaxyand right now we are neither hitting hard or hitting fast.
5.RESERVE AP 3STRICTLY FOR COMMANDOS - Blast should not be reserved for Commandos, in the long run it does nothing, it may work on certain mobs but against others its pointless. As a Commando I should have a bigger advantage over every other combat profession in any situation regardless of the damage type. Why ? Because I am a COMMANDO !That overall edge in combat would come from having all HEAVY ARMOR PIERCING DAMAGE be reserved forthe Commando Profession.
6. REVAMP ARMOR PIERCING / PROTECTION - Even with our weapons at AP 3 we still are barely scratcing our way through all of the protections that the devs have in place. Buffs, Spices, Stims,Synsteak, Flameout, Damage Reduction, Center of Being ,Unarmed Toughness, and hundred more defenses have shredded our damage down to nothing, and we aresuppose to be getting a Bonus for using Heavy Armor Piercing weapons, yet we onlydo 500 - 700Dmg, while using AP 3 weapons with stats of 2500 - 4000 damage !!
Those are the key issues that need to be address first because they carry so many commando concerns with them, they are alsothe toughest issues and asking them right off the bat allows the Devs time tochew on them for a little bit before we ask forsmall things like adding a+ 30 Flame Throwerspeed to Master or having grenades not incap us. Because as of right now NONE of our weapons are doing the damage it should in PvP. Why do I mention PvP ? Because the Galactic Civil War is PvPand as Commandos that will be our arena !

No worries there...many of us Correspondents have basically told the Devs that we don't want any hoopla...we want to spend as much time as we have available on business...

Yeah...some of us Correspondents have already thought of that...that's why we are already discussing what WE WANT to cover and get covered...that way we have hopefully no surprises...there are even a couple of Correspondents begging for an Agenda to be set in advance for us to review before we even get there...

TH has promised us complete information...And anyone who knows StGabriel knows is excellent with the numbers...he will be a real asset to all of us there...if something doesn't look right, we will definitely call them on it..

There has been talk of getting Blast as a Commando only damage type...This would involve changing bomb droids and hammer damage types...AP may be a hard sell, but then again, there is going to be a new AP formula...so things should be interesting...

There has been a lot of focus lately on the fact that Commandos are suppose to be Turret Busters coming from other Correspondents as well as me...With the fact that the devs are currently up'ing Turret HP and the fact that we get out Damaged by other professions against them via DPS, there is a lot of push for some Commando Attention in this market...trust me, that WILL BE brought up many times until I get a good acceptable response...

I think would need to get a shirt made for each correspondent to cover all of our issues
Or gain alot of weight, and then get a really big t-shirt
