Thread: Overall DoT Change

I was just thinking about this one night while dreaming about what the commando could become. Commando's rely on DoT's right now and for the most part it takes a long time to see any damage from a DoT. Wouldn't it be better if even a small amount of damage ticked off every second instead of all at once? It would be the same amount of overall damage it just ticks off in small increments every second. Wouldn't this make the class just a little bit more useful?

Back before Publish 7 I would say Commandos relied pretty heavily on our DoT...but since the DoT NERF back then, we rely more heavily on our Initial Damage done by our Specials (which was turned up back then) then our DoT...
I'm pretty confident that Game mechanics won't allow our DoT to burn every second...The DoT is also set up to work like all other DoTs (some mechanics) so if they changed our DoT, everyone elses would as well (which is why the CM DoT change effected us as well)...
A better solution might be to decrease the time between ticks if possible or push for our DoT to be raised back up in damage...we might have a better chance at that then we did 2 days ago since now our DoT is no longer guarenteed to stick everytime...To me, that is yet another bargining chip we may be able to use in our case for raising our DoT damage...
