what you do (and I'm not sure how leagal this is) is to get a friend (or an alt) with very low dodge/block/counterattack, a crafter is a good choice. now if you're fighting a sith get your freind to go imp have him (or her) go overt, go overt yourself, get your mission on the dark jedi, then go out to him. have your friend stay CLOSE to him, then attack him (the jedi) the jedi will (or should if he's smart) attack you back, at which point you target your friend (who you can now attack because you're both overt) and spam your granades on him. if the jedi is in the radius he WILL take damage as long as he is attacking you so long as you hit your friend. If you're going after a light jedi then just switch factions.
anuther way to do it is to duel your friend, but if you get it wrong it won't work, and it's a lot easyer if you're just overt. also, I'm not sure if the blast radius takes affect if you're just dueling, but I assume it will.
anyway I hope that helps. other than that, you can TRY to hit the jedi, but most likely it won't happen because they have (at master sabers I think, which ALL jedi have, or get, once they can) 85% agenst ALL ranged attacks. i.e. grebades. so you've only got 15% where it's possile to hit them. then the grenades accuracy kicks in, and you're chance of hitting goes down to about 5%. not counting any dodge/counterattack/block.

Block doesn't stop grenades, and grenades do do massive damage to a jedi,, if you can hit them. Problem is hitting ANY combat proffesion with a grenade. I get a much higher DPS using rifleman on a jedi.

Yes, using grenades is very unreliable in most non-FS-grinding combat situations in SWG. In PvP, it is a huge risk to a Commando's health. That blast radius is a killer... to the Commando.

with nades with decent range mods and citrus I hit8 or 9 out of ten....problem is nades are considered melee damage, so gets countered by thoughness...
comes down to: only toss nades on a KD jedi

Last time I used one it hit but was BLOCKED. Might have been bugged or something but really sucked cause it would have Incaped the Jedi and let us get close enough to DB.
