Alright, I doubt I'm going to change this setup one wa or the other now, but how does a Carbineer/Commando character sound in terms of defenses and damage?
I'm really just curious of how much use I'll get out of this profession or if I'll be sitting around twiddling my thumbs while I wait for pub 10. ^^;
I'm mainly PvE, but I wouldn't mind going PvP at some point.

In terms of defenses it's going to stink. In terms of offense it'll be modeiocre (though the AE KD's could prove useful.)

Raptor pretty much said it but I will elaborate a little bit. We have offensive capabilities in PvE that are not too shabby (But need some work!!), but our defenses are terrible at best. Which means you might be able to dish out moderate damage (yes only moderate) but will die just as quickly. The only thing carbineer will give you really are some bleeds and the KD. These are both good but does not compliment commando as well as say Pistoleer or TKM. Both of those proffessions gives great melee and state change defense, as well as broaden your damage types to be more viable in PvE. I am not trying to sway you from your template, just trying to shed some light on it.

Heh. Well the TKM one doesn't surprise me much. Personally I find it funny that a melee fighter will get more ranged defense bonuses than a ranged fighter does (I can't be the only person who sees something inherently wrong in this logic). GUess I'll play around with things a bit and see what I want to do. Thanks for the input guys

Sorry about asking this butit outside my realm of knowledge...
What happens when city expansion gradually grows to encompass a property? Is the owner of that property forced to become a member of that city for taxing purposes or are they left alone because they were there before the city limits expanded that far.
Thanks for any assistance

their house gets added to the city as far as property taxs are concerned, but they need to declare residence again to become a resident, and to need to pay the player weekly tax.
