So if I am reading this right they are going to release some info in addition to the infamous FF either today or tomorrow.
I hope they do. I would hate for this to be the Calandryll's first infamous post like many that TH has.

LOL but you do realize that what he is going to post will basically say........wait around another 6 months while we work out the detials of our sweeping changes to HAM, armor, buffs! Then of course six months later they'll tell us those Ideas didn't pan out, but we have a combat redux coming that will include sweeping changes to HAM, armor, and buffs.....
you get the idea.
Oh and on the positive side. I actually logged in last night. Don't ban me for my opinion. I am skeptical!

Dunno about you guys, but I am chomping at the bit to see this actually be posted...
Having said that, I am TRYING not to get myself TOO amped up about it, and set myself up for a huge disappointment if its merely a regurgitation of info we already know, or something delays it....

Some of us Correspondents are trying to get a "preview" so we have an idea of what's coming with the Chat and the FF (as well as to confirm it's not a "tease")...
Current speculation (total guess here) is that maybe they'll expand on TH's brief CU overview from awhile back...maybe also do a bit of Q&A...If that's true, might be a good time to review some of my hints and some of the detailed discussions we've had to come up with some hard hitting questions you want answers to...It never hurts to ask (you may not get the answer, but at least they know you are thinking about it)...

The Dev Tracker icon is going to be worn out by the time I get done with it....
Sooner or later, its going to start flashing at me with the following message:

The phrase "Combat Upgrade Overview - high level goals" leads me to believe that todays CU thread will be excruciatingly vague and inconclusive. I know its the pessimist in me coming out, but after 18 or so months of reading these guys, its become instinct (grain of salt mindset). It leads me to believe that today's post will be nothing more than a re-worded "Whats Going On With Combat" thread...
Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.....

I don't want to nit pick or be pessimistic... well that's always the case 
but...
The words "overview" and "high end goals" with the CU sounds like they're going to go on about how it is the savior of SWG and to just be patient. Honestly don't get your hopes up. It's just another chat thingy nothing new.
Otherwise there's a good chance were going to be let down.
I find it best just to stop hoping cause that leads to disappointment. If it comes, it comes.
Are we still talking about that FF?
It's funny how they've been ready or very close, maybe due to changes that our great correspondent and sandbox testers have suggested that needs to be fixed. Which is good but I would still want to know what's going and maybe what's being changed or suggested he he.
But they still haven't released it. It is not that big of deal. So something changes it might tick someone off but they probably won't quit cause everything else will be so much better regardless.
I think the bigger deal is that they're afraid whining is going to go nuts. I can just see 6th graders and powergamers complaning they can't be uber.
(Sarcastic) Oh no!
However this may be exactly why they won't cause they feel they'll have to change it which could upset the "balance".
It's a bit ify but personally they'll improve relations and their image the sooner they get it out for us to go through.
