1 - New weapons Lava Cannon and Republic flamethrower will be no more than lame copies of our current weapons.

Yeah you're pretty accurate with that. I'm trying to get a push started for giving the lava cannon something unique...


2 - Grenades will end up with just better stick-rate and duration for states. Damage will remain 'mostly harmless' and useless as it is now.

Not so sure about the damage, but the states are sticking better. It's really the bloody timers that are making the new grenades 'mostly harmless'. No new info on this unfortunately.


3 - The following 5 patches will read 'Fixed issue that was causing commando AOE to not work properly'.

I hope not, seeing working AoE actually rocks on TC2 .


4 - 6th patch will cease mentioning AOE altogether as the devs will give up and moved on to something more important.

Heh.


5 - Helios will not be heard from for the next 6 months.

My theory is they locked him away in a closet post-CU...


6 - New Commando Correspondent recruited from the ranks of SOE butt-kissers lurking the forums.

Unlikely...commando forums will explode and go after him (a la Jedi forums when they went after -me- pre-CU, whoever this guy will be...should be bloody scared).


7 - 3 months after the 'fix' Commando population hits an all-time low. Astromech stats artificially inflated to compensate.

Hell yeah, we'd be an imaginary number of that happened...


8 - Starnick quits game. 'I quit' post deleted from forums so fast the forum moderator gets rugburns.

At my 36th month mark can I actually quit the game, right now I'm in my 28th month so I'll be around. Let's call it a blood promise I made after waiting for this game, for 3 years...


9 - 8 Months of the same 'ol sh!t.

Most likely - let's make this month really count.


10 - In the year 2007 SOE announces SWG2 Beta.

Wouldn't be surprised.


11 - Playerbase migrated to SWG2 and upgraded to new game for free. Players shocked.

12 - First player enters SWG2 world. Bria Crashes.

13 - Helios reappears. Historic statement: 'What? AOE still doesnt work? ARRGGGH!!! *hits head against wall*'

14 - New Republic Flamethrower given to Commando. Fires pink flame and smells all nice 'n flowery. Entertainers everywhere Rejoice.

Bloody entertainers! This would be the day team hawtpants would gain the upper hand...

sorry everone i get piss off when people hate soe and yet still pay then 15$ a month. im not ass kissing. it will be like saying to someone you know that you know names and call them stupid and give them money ever month.

Well, neither of you should be at each other's throats...

But Tac's I think is coming more from, not a "I hate SOE"...but a "I know what SOE is going to do".

I'm a fan of helios, I like the developers...but yeah, we've been in that position a few times in the past. Some professions have been too, and still are. I guess it's a nasty by-product of further developing a MMORPG, but that's also why we need to make the attention we -do- get, count for everything its worth.

Yep. He just doesnt get it. I love my Jedi my BH my CH my pikeman and my armorsmith.

My optomism is waning.

the next expansion wiill be a tie in with the coming tv show, just wait and see.
