Commando Archive

I was in the beta, and i never got to test commando because the weapons where released at the end, with the resources non-existant, however it springs to mind that HEAVY weapons, should do HEAVY damage. Right now commando is being treated as a secondary profession, secondary to what? what else can i do with the 81 skill points i have left? Take up rifleman? and defeat the purpose of becoming a commando in the first place.

Heavy weaponsgive melee opponentsa 3X damage modifier, okay, heavy weapons are unwieldy, good idea. Heavy weapons are slow,alsofair enough, reload/charge times. Heavy weapons do small damage, not good enough guys, we should be doing good damage WITHOUT special moves, after all the effort we put into gettingto this profession, maybe we deserve to get somethinggood out of it, rather than the slapdash waste of63 skill points we have currently.

As it stands the heavy weapons are stated as secondary weapons not to be used in all encounters, maybe this means they are useful if your standing on one leg, during a full moon, on the second friday of every month, but not useful any other time, or maybe commandos just got hit with the nerf stick again.

Commandos need some serious work, and some serious DEV teamconsideration, there have been countless creaturehandler and entertainer changes, but as far as i can see these people are having fun anyway, and thier professions arent broken, like commando is. Players who intended to become commandos have been shortchanged extremely and its a **edit** shame.

While i can tell the concerns of current commandos dont mean much right now, all i can say is that im a dissatisfied customer, i didnt come to the game with preconceptions of a bug free enviroment with everything in working order, but i did expect each profession to be fun in its own way, and the commando hybrid profession is practically useless now.
