What are the needed minerals for our commando weapons?

Who are you and where do you call home?

I made Commando somewhere around July 21st., and have been trying to stockpile the materials that are used for making our weapons.

I would like to get a Commando network of somekind together that we can be of service to eachother on this server. We all know the profession is seriously in trouble atm, but if we could all be on the lookout for the Materials and/or Weapons it might be a little easier on all of us.

So if you havent given up and are still trudging forward with, let me know your ingame name.

If you havent already started, I suggest you start buying or mining the materials to make our weapons.

Because of the difficulty and limited use of them, Weaponsmith's (non-guild) will be price gouging the heck out of us.

Well I'm on my way, I've just got Master Marksman and am level 2 in Unarmed, so It will probably take me at least 2 weeks to get there unless you can tell me how to get unarmed specialist and 40k combat points quickly, I suck at both.

It's really rarity to see other Commandoson Eclipse. I like your Commando network idea. However I find it rather useless. Commando weapons and the profession itselfis broken that is it, nothing you can do till the devs fix them. I usename Siryes Gurgo in game and I'm in Tatoiine.

Character is Aybabtu Gokra, in Kor Vella, Corellia. I'm a novice commando, and have 1 box of sniper in rifleman.

My original plan was to go ranger/rifleman, but then I saw all the commando weapons which would be available if the class worked and changed over. I may still switch back, but I'll wait until the devs do SOMETHING about commando before giving up on it.

I'm nowhere near what I need to make Commando but since it seems to be broken at the moment I'm in no rush. If you'll tell us what materials are needed I'll be happy to keep an eye out for them and report to whomever wants the information. At this point the only resources I'm aware of that we supposedly need is Kammris Iron and Kiirum Steel, can anyone verify that?

As for unarmed xp I highly recommend you buy a ticket to Lok and go hunting Langlatchs, by far the fastest way to get any xp when soloing.

True about the weapons, but at some point it will get fixed. If we are proactive on the server. Try to coordinate logistics of materials and what not, we will all be in a postion to get moving once we are ungated.

Also, we can feed eachother info, materials, crafter information, prices, where and who to buy from and all that. Which in turn will do nothiing but help us in the long run.

We all know the pains of Commando atm, but it will turn around. It just a matter of when. There are so few of us on Eclipse anyway, we may just keep from going insane by helping eachother out.

The ideal weapon is the Flamethrower, I believe it is the only Heavy Weaponthat does not have a limited number of charges (Correct me if I'm wrong). As it stands right now the only craftable weapons that are commando specific cert'd are the Launcher pistol (which gives pistol xp) and the Heavy particle Beam canon (which is charge based and you dont get the cert until HW support 1), which is 100k HW xp. So needless to say, you will a pay out the nose for a HPBC because of the dificultly in making one and you will only hit for 8-10 damage unless you have the HW 1box filled. Yet still you are throwing money down the tube using a charged weapon.

I have stockpiled every specific material that has shown up on Ecplise to date so that when Kiirium steel appears we can get some FT's made and finally be able to atleast get some HW xp.

I am Trodan, became a commando today. I have been looking all day for weaponsmiths to make me a commando weapon other than the launcher pistol, and they all tell me when they get the materials they will let me know but they are so rare, it could be ages, <sigh>

This may sound stupid, but is there a way to add notes or colours to the names in the friends list? With Guild mates, crafters and many others I tend to lose track of who some people are.
